I came here on a Friday night as a group of 7. The place was very busy - basically full when we first entered, and so busy throughout that they had to decline a group/told them there would be quite the wait considering no one was about to leave and a couple reservations were set for later in the night. The place itself didn't look that big at a glance, and in terms of cleanliness, the seating areas and tables were clean but you could note the dust/small spider webs near the vents. Overall, this is a pricier sushi spot but I definitely appreciated the quality of the food. I ordered the SUSHI DINNER DELUXE which included 12 pcs of sushi plus either 6 tempura rolls or 6 spicy salmon rolls, and I chose the spicy salmon rolls as they're my favorite! They were so good, really spicy, which I love. The assortment of sushi was quite nice including salmon, tuna, shrimp, BBQ eel, calamari, and truthfully, some others that I can't distinguish just by look/taste if you don't tell me what they are. However, despite not usually being adventurous with all types of raw seafood, I must say everything was very fresh and nothing had a "fishy" odor to it! I should also mention that my meal came with a miso soup and salad, which everyone got as well, minus the one person at our table who ordered a specialist roll for their dish. Service was fair but I didn't feel it was the most friendly. Sometimes I felt like our server was a little impatient with us/looked like she didn't want to be there. Fun fact: 10% discount when you pay with cash! Candies included upon payment (never had that kind before but they were really good fruity taffy type candies).

2024 June 4★ Located on an off beaten path, you'll find this kind of hidden as it's both unexpected and blends in a bit with the other shops. Inside, it's reminiscent of a small family run sushi shop, one you'd find in those old movies. Cozy indeed. Fits about 20 inside. Another 12 at the patio, but the patio feel lacks feel. Go inside. TUNA TATAKI $17 Very good. Slices of seared tuna microgreens, mango, red & green onions, sesame seed. Though there could've been slightly more mango. 5 pieces. TEMPURA APPETIZER $13 Very crispy, great batter. 3 shrimp with 6 pieces of mixed vegetables. Would recommend. RAINBOW DRAGON $19 Assorted fish on top of a roll with shrimp tempura, crab meat, cucumber, avocado, tobiko, yam. Large. 10 pieces. Would recommend. DANCING EEL $21 crab meat, cucumber, avocado, tobiko, yam, eel [top] - vocado, katsoubushi, tobiko. Large. 10 pieces. Would recommend also. UNAGI AVOCADO ROLL $10 Eel, avocado roll. Good. 6 pieces. YELLOW TAIL & SCALLION ROLL $10 Good. 6 pieces. SUSHI DINNER DELUXE $43 Chef choice of 12pcs sushi + choose 6pcs shrimp tempura roll or 6pcs spicy salom roll. Pretty good, though the fish was a bit on the thinner side. HAMACHI SASHIMI $13 MADAI SASHIMI $14 The fish in this case was good. Fresh and thick. A la carte. 3 pieces each. Overall, not bad at all. Worth checking out. Free parking just on the nearby streets. They carry a very good assortment of fish. Not just the usuals.

Picked solely on Google review rate ..but.... Starting with the best, the atmosphere, furniture and decor sets the perfect vibe, your servers are very friendly and nice with some hiccups around maneuvering in tight spaces but they made it! First thing that was a turn off was we learned we couldn't order another bottle of Soju and it was the last one , not sure if we were lost in translation or something else cuz I saw another table order and get one ( can you reserve? Not sure , I didn't bother to ask). Speed on food was very good, the spicy assorted plate was the star of the show for me and a very close runner up was the wasabi octopus. However the bad ones really stood out, the golden raspberry goes to the Avocado Tuna Tartare with the runner up to it being a beef dish. All in all the freshness wasn't felt for me throughout the dishes unfortunately and especially when you ventured off road and raw raw. Final disappointment came when I learned Amex is not accepted which was kinda of a first for me in a while in a restaurant at these price point. All in all I can't say I will be returning which was something I was looking forward to with the location being pretty convenient for me. P.S parking around here wasn't fun either especially on a -29 night

2025 March 4★ Still pretty good sushi overall. CHICKEN KARAGE 14 Not bad, but small in portions. Not quite the karage style per se, but a close version. YUDE TAKO CARPACCIO 16 This was good, but expensive for 8 pieces. LOBSTER ROLL 23 BLACK DRAGON 22 YELLOW TAIL & SCALLION ROLL 10 Rolls were a good size. Would recommend the rolls overall. SUSHI DINNER REG 29 The sushi seems smaller than before. Overall, inflation has made the size of sushi and portions smaller. Good value in the rolls. Otherwise still not bad flavor wise, but certainly gotten more expensive.
