Review as a Nepali who craves Nepali food far from home:
We ordered the following items:
Steam Buff Momo :
Momo was good, the taste is a standard Momo taste you will get in many places in Nepal. It doesn't have a distinctive flavour to stand out that will make you feel like, "That's the Momo I would like to have", but overall will satisfy your Momo craving. Chutney served with Momo was great. But the catch is not many places serve Buff Momo in Canada. So just for the Buff Momo experience,
Overall rating for the dish will be 4 stars.
Jhol Buff Momo:
While the Momo served is the same steam Momo with Jhol. The Jhol will definitely add to the experience. Again, it doesn't have a unique taste but the taste is good as I will put it as standard taste.
Overall rating for this dish will be 4.3 stars.
Buff Chowmein:
This has to be the gem this place offers. The Buff meat on the Chowmein is savoury and too good. The noodle itself is also packed with flavour. One call out will be on the chutney they serve with the Chowmein. It's very runny for a tomato chutney. If it wasn't for the chutney this dish would be 5 stars.
Overall rating for buff Chowmein is 4.8 stars.
Wai Wai Sadheko:
Very well made and flavourful but my experience was ruined by the smell of Mustard oil that was just standing out. Slightly less oil would have been perfect in my experience or if they would use olive oil as it doesn't have to be cooked.
Overall rating for this would be 3.5 stars.
Rasmalai :
Pretty straightforward off the shelf Rasmalai offered at a good price of 4.99 per two pieces. Not sure of which brand they use but was really good in taste.
Overall rating would be 4.7 stars for this.
Final Conclusion:
Good Food Very polite Staffs Really good on price Quick service Feels like home setup for Nepalese Definitely a place to come more than...
Read moreI tried this place recently at an outdoor event, and honestly, the experience was disappointing.
First off, the Bhutan portion was nowhere near the 200g they claim — more like 100g. And I wasn’t the only one noticing it. Several people around were also talking about how tiny the portions were for the price. If you’re going to advertise 200g, then deliver 200g. Don’t assume people won’t notice.
They were charging $20 for something that normally goes for $16.99 at the restaurant. I get it — outdoor events come with extra costs, but that’s not an excuse to overcharge and under-serve. Customers shouldn’t be footing the bill for your $1200 booth fee. That’s your business decision — not ours.
And the sarcasm in their response to another review? “Not sure what food you’ll get for $5” — seriously? No one expects fine dining for $5 in Toronto, but if you're charging $20, the food better justify it. This didn’t.
Tried their jhol too, which they claim is one of their top sellers. Honestly? It didn’t hit the mark — bland, underwhelming, and not worth the hype. Just because something sells doesn’t mean it’s good. Take the feedback instead of brushing it off with “maybe it’s not your flavour.”
Community support doesn’t mean blind loyalty. It means honest feedback so businesses can improve. Unfortunately, this one felt more defensive than receptive — and...

Just know that its a dry momo but flavourful. And the guy that works here is a sweetheart. Same guy as last time. He's very patient, kind, and works hard! Original review: First time here, and I will most definitely be back. I love momos and my fave spot in the east end closed down and having tried a couple other momo spots that were not good, I was skeptical, but they far exceeded my expectations! The flavors were so on point. We tried butter chicken momos (great), Alfredo momos with paneer (is that even a thing? LOL, so good), jhol veggie momos (not our preferred one), and veg chow main (flavours were great, could use more veggies tho). Our waiter, a young guy was very patient and sweet. No line up on a Saturday night and free parking in the neighborhood. So glad there's another good momo spot to replace the one I loved. And shout out to having filling that isn't jammed full of onions, you won my heart...
