I have never had such poor customer service in all of my life. I drove there from Whitby to try and support my people which I do every weekend. This time was different. We literally waited an hour for our takeout order. Firstly let me start from the beginning...I attempted five times to call the store to place an order for pick up however nobody picked up the phone. We decided to drive there and we placed our order. We waited and waited and waited. We saw other people come and go AND other people that came after us and successfully got their pork dishes. After 45 minutes I asked what was going on. Their reply was shocking. She said we do not have any pork but would I like chicken instead. That's not even what got me upset. What got me upset is when it was approaching an hour I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out and I explained to the manager that we've been waiting for an hour! He then said to me that their systems were down... I said granted I completely understand however that should have been communicated to us. Why is it as customers we have to follow up with the waitress on the status of our order? Why wasn't it communicated to us that there's going to be a longer than normal wait time? He then replied by asking me if I didn't see the technician running around trying to fix the system. I said to him that I did not pay attention nor do I know what your technician looks like. He said ...what do you want me to do? I said that we shouldn't have to pay this full bill He replied rudely... I'm not comping anything. I said okay well I will take my business elsewhere ... great customer service. They finally brought out the food. The poor waitress apologized. I told her that it wasn't her fault . I would strongly like to point out that she was the only one that apologized and the only one that had any competence to know to apologize. It's kind of sad that the workers have more common sense and sympathy than the managers at this restaurant . Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I went to the Nicey's Restaurant newly opened at Markham and Finch today. This would be my second visit and completely the opposite of my experience just a day earlier. As I walked into the restaurant, i was the first customer in line to be served. The Young girl (Shanice) stood only feet from me and never once acknowledged my presence, instead she just stood there waiting for food to come out from the kitchen. At the very least she could have said "i will be with you in a minute" ect. After two minutes of waiting and will 4 customers now in line behind me, a lady from the back came to take my order. As i moved to the side to await my order (which was a chicken Roti) 3 customers who ordered after me, got their food and mine was still not completed. I then mentioned to the server (shanice) I think there's an issue all the customers who came after me have been served and i'm still waiting. Well! How dare I ask about the meal I'm paying for. In her combative tone and theatrical hand motions; she says "some meals take longer to prepare" I then reminder her that it's a roti. She places her hands on her chest and then remarks' I'm not the one making the food, and everyone wants to come down on me" I replied by saying " you are the face of the company" anyways, I got me roti, drove back to work and starting eating...I mentioned to my co worker I think they gave me a veggie roti, as all i could taste was the potato. After opening up the roti I discovered that 1/2 the roti was potato and the other half was chicken...who makes a roti like that? I immediately lost my appetite. I called and asked for the Manager so that i could review with them the entire "customer experience" I had. Well! i spoke with Vivian who agreed with everything i had to say...I drove back to get a new meal, but was sadly disappointed that Vivian didn't come out to greet me, to apologize for the experience. Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo Iāve been craving Jerk Pork for a while, so on Saturday I went up to Niceys all the from Port Perry. I used to work in the are so me and my husband make the dive to Scarborough. I was very excited because I used to love their jerk pork and beef soup a lot. I went in excitedly to place my order. The girl was new but tried to help, the girls she called was full of attitude and was visible annoyed. I asked her for oxtail with rice. I asked if she can place the meat on one side and rice one side in the same place and also to put the veggie on the side of which I usually pay $0.50 of which I donāt mind. She went on to explain I need to pay $2.00 extra just for the container. I told her itās $0.50 for the container to put the veggie on the side. She then told me she cannot accommodate any of my request. I asked for $12.00 jerk pork well done and she replied our pork is cook. I was so disappointed, I stepped back thinking to leave the restaurant but the first girl called back. I told her itās okay serve the next person but she insisted that I continue with my order. I was about to leave then she asked me to wait and she called a tall thick gentle whom was very nice and got it all done. He was professional, I was so frustrated that I walked leave my husbands oxtail dinner but the nice girl ran it out after me and gave it to me. She apologized again for the girl behaviour. That experience was so bad I was in tears by the time I got back to the car, with my husband waiting inside it. He was so angry. I was so excited when arrived. Long story short my husband and I will not be going back to Niceyās Restaurant. We work too hard to spend our money and time with a place with...
