$12.75 #25. Skimped on the chicken and beef, mostly broth and noodle. Good overall 6.5/10 $13.50 #37. Light dish though largely portioned, delicious, various flavours and vibrantly coloured. 9/10 $5.25 soursop fruit milkshake (recommended by server lady to try) good, a little too sweet but creamy delectable 7/10. +13% tax = $35.59 She charged me $43.50 (+$7.40 overcharge) and haggled an extra 11% tip to the overcharge (which I obliged) Total: 47.85 I understand that sometimes businesses are struggling and some corners have to be cut in order to keep the doors open. I get it, running a restaurant is hard work. However, these little overcharges (I've read other stories in the reviews) is just leeching. It's disgusting behaviour, and unprofessional at minimum. I have to share this with friends & family, (including you reading this) because this place is now "that store" for me. I won't fight the 11 bucks, it's unnecessary. If you need it, you need it. Hopefully what you stole from me can be used to buy some extra herbs for a dish, spend less on cleaning products for the month, or help with decorations for a catering event. If the $11 can do anything positive to help your restaurant, I'll be generally content. I wish you the best of luck with your future endeavours. I will no longer patronize your restaurant.

We visited Pho Rang Dong for the first time and had a mixed experience. I ordered the fresh rice paper rolls and the everything mixed stir-fried egg noodles, while my husband tried the Bun Rieu Vermicelli noodle soup. The atmosphere was what you’d expect from a typical pho restaurant, nothing fancy, but comfortable. There was only one server working, and she was sweet enough to give us a children’s bowl for our toddler, which was a nice touch. However, after we received our food, there was no follow-up. We weren’t offered tea, water, or any drinks, which left us a bit disappointed in the service. The food itself was okay. The fresh rice paper rolls were on the smaller side for $3 each, and the rice paper seemed different from other places as it remained clear. My stir-fried egg noodles were decent, though the meat was tough, and there were quite a few large celery chunks, which felt overwhelming. My husband’s Bun Rieu was flavorful but missing some advertised ingredients like crab meat and shrimp. Overall, it was a neutral experience for us. The food was decent, but there were areas that could be improved, both in terms of service and portion sizes.

I'm a sucker for good fried rice and man does this place do it well. I tried this spot for the first time last weekend and went with the beef fried rice. The best part was how hot of the pan this was - it's well cooked and even has those crunchy bits that come from cooking on a hot wok. The seasoning is simple and the beef tender. There were some bits that were a tad on the tougher side so that's something that could improve. Overall a nice comforting dish that fried rice needs to be. It's a little bit on the oily side but it's fried rice. I also wish the seasoning was a little better mixed in but this fried rice is something I'll crave for in the future. Also tried the fried veggie spring rolls and they were fantastic too. Give this place a try!

The first time I ate here I felt a little dismissed. I asked to sit by the kitchen so I could stay warmer. There was no one else in the restaurant. The woman came and put a reserved sign there and I moved tables closer to the window. No one ever came in while I was there and it was mid afternoon. The tv was also very loud and playing cp24 eventually she came out with dishes to dry at the table so perhaps it’s me who should have read the place better. Anyways I have come for about a year now every so often for chicken pho after my Accupuncture sessions to keep my blood qi flowing and help comfort my soul in need of much healing inside and out. I like that she is able to accommodate extra noodle instead of chicken slices as I don’t actually eat meat but need the broth. This summer I have changed my “regular” order to their three vegetarian spring rolls and green salad and rice instead of vermicelli. Everything is always very hot and tastes delicious without being overpowering. Reminds me of home meals that are quick yet nourishing. I love looking around at the pictures on the walls. I notice new details all of the time. I love the music they have playing and feeling like I’m in a protected place during that time. Watching people walk by is always a pleasure. I know I have been lured in by the smell of delicious scents. The only issue sometimes is the prevalence of wasps flying around but they stay by the window and door which is always open as is the back one to keep a breeze running through. They also just bounce around the glass and giant plant area. So far haven’t seen anyone majorly bothered by them and a couple ate three courses next to the window. Overall, she is a dedicated and hard working provider of fresh food. She works alone (as far as I’ve seen) handling restaurant, takeout and delivery...
