I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon around 3 PM. They are not busy at all and at that time there was only one other group seated. I was approached right away and the table where I was seated. My server came and took my order and the food came out within 5 to 6 minutes. While I was waiting for my food, I always brought bread with olive oil and balsamic which tasted fresh. I got the spaghetti Cacio E Pepe and my spouse got the Bufala Margherita. The pizza was fantastic. It had ample amount of flavour and we really enjoyed it. The cacio e Pepe was not bad but I have had better at other places. It didn’t have a very strong taste of pepper that is usually present in this dish. Overall the service was great; the server was friendly and checked in on us a few times. The ambiance is cosy. On the outside it seems small but inside it goes quite deep and there is ample amount of seating but I can see it be crowded during peak times. The only thing that I did enjoy was the fruit flies that were around our table. Often hover over our food or the wall beside us. However, I would return again to try other items on the menu.

My friends and I visited here over the weekend, the overall experience was less than average. The mushroom ravioli was really good but not enough to go back, other dishes were not that great. We had reservations but we were seated near the back, at a table, where it was really cold. When we asked to move to a booth (which was empty) the staff weren’t too happy to accommodate but ended up letting us sit at a booth…Until we were met with a very foul smell in the restaurant, hard to explain (kind of like dirty wet socks that haven’t been washed in weeks? Idek) only at specific section, we had to move back to our old seats…that’s how bad the smell was. I’d rather freeze. Also, the server touched our straws and the coke was flat. Ultimately, they rushed us to order “the kitchen is going to close soon” not sure why they would give us a 9:30pm reservation if the kitchen was going to close soon…anyway, the whole experience kind of sucked minus my pasta, thankfully or I probably would’ve just left. Hoping no one else has this experience but just wanted to share mine.

The closest you will get to eating in Italy here in the city. The Margherita pizza was very light and the flavours just popped. The key is the use of authentic San Marzano tomatoes for the sauce. Other key highlights was the Barbabietole insalata ( yellow and red beets, arugula and goat cheese) was delicious and a must have. For pasta we had the Tagliatelle alla Boscaiola (in house made tagliatelle in a creamy mushroom and prosciutto sauce with green peas) as well as the Pappardelle Mare e Monte (homemade pappardelle pasta with porcini mushrooms and tiger shrimp in a rosé sauce). Both pasta's didn't fail to impress and the fact they make the pasta inhouse is a nice added touch that helps give it that authentic Italian flare. Finally for pizza Bianchi we had the "Pere" (Pears). A white pizza made with caramelized pear, fresh fior di latte & Gorgonzola cheeses, walnuts, and honey. The pizza was just crazy good. So if your looking for a great authentic Italian dinner in the 6, then Pizza e Pazzi is a must. You will not be disappointed.

We've been coming to Pizza e Pazzi for quite some, stretching back to the days when there was a second location on St Clair near Christie. It was first recommended to us by friends who are of Italian heritage. The new management has enhanced the dining experience there.

Having spent many weeks driving all around Italy over multiple trips, sampling delicious food in every town, we've grown to love Italian cuisine with a passion. The GTA is very lucky to have so many wonderful Italian restaurants. Pizza e Pazzi is one of them. The decor is modern and pleasing; the service is cheery and obliging; and most of all, the food is excellent. I'm a big fan of Neapolitan pizza--"pizze bianche" in particular which are less common in North America but much more prevalent in Italy. So naturally, I've ordered pizza on every single visit. My faves are the "Pere" (pear, gorgonzola, honey), and the "Salsiccia" (rapini and sausages). They are so good that it feels like I'm eating a dessert the whole time. My husband is more a pasta fan. He finds the pasta dishes very fresh and tasty. The appetizers we've had are amazing, too. In other words, they do everything well. And the prices are very reasonable for the high quality food. This restaurant...

My friends and I usually go to restaurants on College St but decided to try a St. Clair location at Pizza e Pazzi. The atmosphere was great (not too loud) and the service was excellent. My friend and I had the salmon special which was exquisite. For this I would give them a 5+ star rating. My husband and his friend ordered pizzas. We started with the fried calamari which was tender and seasoned just right. However the bread appetizer was very chewy and not at all like we expected. We were hoping they would use a different dough recipe for the pizzas. Unfortunately, although the pizza's were beautifully arranged and looked delicious, they used the same chewy dough which made the center gummy. I would give the pizza's a 2- star rating. We enjoy going to different pizza's restaurants mainly to compare pizza's. We look at the presentation as well as the type of ingredients used, but more importantly the texture of the cooked dough....baked crisp on the outside and a thin dry crust center, Once this is improved, then I would consider this place...
