i wish ZERO STAR is an option, because that's what i would give. Food is okay, however, it's how the food is being handled and the customer service that just ruined everything. I have been noticing often that this location hasn't been handling the food properly. For example, it is often noticed that the cashier is the same person handling food. I have personally seen them handled from cash to food without washing their hands nor without gloves. On Saturday, July 10, 2017, at around 6:45pm, I ordered a few items, one of which was poutine. The cashier pushed the fries into the container WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS NOR WITHOUT GLOVES. And when I asked the cashier how they normally handle the food, he said, "we use gloves". And what's ironic is that, while I was conversing with him, he had the poutine in his hand, holding the rim, so the fries were touching his palm. So i said, "look how you're handling the poutine right now, you have no gloves, you went from handling the cash to the handling the food with no gloves, nor without washing your hands, I don't think you would want to feed that to your family." i asked for my order to be changed. And they did, but they were so rude and did not even apologize. i was the one who apologized for making them change the order. But, wouldn't anyone do the same??? Yes, the deep fryer is located just behind the cash counter, so it is convenient for the cashier to just normally handle fries, chicken wings, etc., anything that needs deep frying. However, every time I go here, the food is never handled properly. Cashiers NEVER EVER EVER wash their hands before handling the food right after handing the cash. ONLY sometimes, maybe once in awhile, i would see the cashier wear gloves going from cash to handling food, BUT NEVER will they wash their hand. If you are a customer of this location, you wouldn't want to eat the food being served. How can someone touch money and touch the food right after without proper health handling. In addition, customer service at this location is just TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, you name it!!! And as my family and I were exiting on Saturday, the workers looked at me as if I just murdered someone. EVERYONE deserves to eat clean food. We are paying them after all, so we deserve proper food handling at the very least. Even if the service sucks, at least handle the food properly in accordance to the Ministry of Health. The only reason why I went here and not at Pizza Nova across the street is because they carry fries in their menu and that's often what my nephews and niece request to eat. I hope that my complaint to the Toronto Public Health will be noticed. It's just getting too much now. PLEASE HANDLE YOUR FOOD...

Pizza is not bad due to its high turnover and large demand; however, I don’t think they change their oil for months, nor do they clean the deep fryer every time. Every time I make the mistake of eating their fried foods, I get a bad headache, likely due to poor hygiene. Their staff is also not very proficient in English and has limited ability to communicate with customers. The food doesn’t really meet any sort of standard. The individual pizza slices are often stale. I would recommend getting a full pie from this store, but definitely stay away from the fried foods.

However, their performance is always inconsistent. Sometimes I am amazed by the taste and quality of the food, but other times I am really disappointed. That being said, the newly renovated restaurant is really clean and offers a nice, relaxing atmosphere, which surprises me for a Pizza Pizza joint, and the prices are also hard to beat with lots of great deals. But with the addition of Hero Burger, the staff is becoming even more occupied, and I’m concerned about the already questionable quality of service and food. I ordered a large pizza at 3:59 pm. The server at the counter said it would take 15 minutes and I said no problem. I did not receive my pizza before 4:30 pm (see photo: look at the time on the receipt). I didn't get my pizza until I complained about the long wait. The pizza I received was cold, so apparently it was sitting there for a while (see photo). The restaurant was almost empty so they were definitely not very busy. One guy came in around the same time as me and ordered a burger and fries combo from Hero Burger in the same store. Half an hour later he still had not received his order and asked for his money to be refunded. The girl at the counter gave him a hard time, refused to refund his money and said his order was "almost" ready. This is unacceptably slow service and I will not return to this location.
