barBURRITO — Restaurant in Toronto

At first I was hesitant to come to this particular BarBurrito location due to low ratings.

But I was too hungry and as the other BarBurrito location which I usually go to was closed already (one in Dixie mall, really great with super generous portion size, strongly recommended), I just decided to try it myself and then judge.

Overall, place was clean and looked new.

What bothered me was visibly bothered staff members (they were doing nothing at the time when I visited as there were no other customers ordering food).

More importantly, they are CHEAPING OUT ON BASICALLY EVERY TOPPING, starting with beans and rice, all the way to meat and guac even.

I literally had to ask the staff to put some more for every topping, as the portion he was giving me was ridiculous. I tried to be understanding at first, but seeing him put a couple leaves of cilantro and less than ten (I could count) pieces of corns, just made me furious. I asked for some more, and he literally put in 3 or 4 pieces more.

I have been to many burrito places. I saw some places trying to cheap out on guac even though it was a paid option. However, this place cheaps out on all ingredients, and I can say it had the SMALLEST PORTION SIZE of all (compared to other BarBurrito locations and other burrito francises).

Usually regular size burrito fills me up somewhat nicely and large completely fills me up.

I got regular from this location, but had to grab two junior chicken burgers from McDonald's after.

Reading at other reviews, it wasn't hard to come across other complaints regarding criminally small portion size for the price and in comparison with other stores.

I won't be visiting this location again in the near future. Maybe when I start to see some more good reviews regarding improvements, then I...

🤠 Howdy y'all! Jokingly I give this place a B+... Because it has Burritos and more! 🤗 This is the only taco & burrito place in this area I found. 🤓

Personally I think burritos and tacos are a great meal! I don't get them too spicy because I get indigestion but I could eat them everyday 💞

You can share the burrito 🌯 with a friend cutting it in half or you can just save some for later depending on how hungry you are! 🤤🥰

This restaurant is kind of hard to see because the plaza is not exactly designed very well. However you can sit inside and enjoy the food.

I find the plazas in this area are not designed right making it that basically you're looking at parking lots and there's a lack of scenery. 😕

However this location does offer some Greenery outside the window facing the East mall. A great place to eat but limited views.

I miss having things to stare at while I eat my food because it's great to enjoy something nutritious while having something to look at.

Otherwise thanks to the staff and be kind to people when you are walking or driving. Do not get heated up by the salsa!...

I hate to do this since we are still in the pandemic and these employees are doing their best but this might be one of the worst Mexican food order I have ever had. I order a Medium fish Burrito with an order of chicken Taco combo (fries and extra meat) with Skip the Dish. I didn't expect hot soup or anything, I mean they are burrito and taco, but jesus christ these things are stone cold, like straight from the freezer stone cold. To make things worst they messed up my taco order, they didn't put the fries but instead replace them with chips, like five soggy pathetic chips, and they didn't even put the extra meat in, most of the taco are sauce and lettuce and I specifically excluded the lettuce in my order!
