Samba Brazil Eatery specializes in making Brazilian Pastel which is a well known street pastry often sold in fast food stores.
Where did it originated? It's hard to say. To me it's a large sized crispy fried spring roll stuffed with a filling of your choice either savoury or sweet.
You can order ahead and take out or dine in inside or at their outdoor patio. They serve their food in individual bags for convenience, so you can eat it on the go. They accept credit cards.
There is a paid Green P parking right at the back or park in one of the neighborhood residential streets, but please observe the parking signage.
Carne Pastel - ground beef (Opt for ones stuffed with meat and vegetables or with cheese to give it some extra kick.) Coxinha de Frango Requeijao - chicken and cheese Cassava Fries - thickly cut

Read moreI actually found this place by accident, i was taking my Brazilian wife to another establishment in the area for pizza when i saw this place on google maps. Having never tried real Brazilian food from a restaurant I surprised her and took her here. The look on her face when she tried the pastels took her back to her childhood in Brazil. For that reason alone this place deserves 6 stars. The pastels were amazing it was my first time trying, full of flavour and the shell was thin and crispy. Even though it is deep fried it is not very oily. Also had the chicken coaxhina not sure if i spelled that properly, its almost like a rice ball but with shredded chicken inside. The young man in front and the older lady who i think is the chef were quite hospitable. I dont live in the area but if im around would definitely come back. Thanks Samba for putting a smile on my wifes face and showing me authentic...

Having said that, the food is really good and the owner is a nice person. The only thing that I would not do...is to put the TV loudly playing Brazilian whatever band. It was annoying...and this is something that mostly happens in Brazil...loud music in restaurants. But I never liked it even when I was living there.
If the prices were a little bit less for pastel and coxinha I would make the effort of going there more often with my family. But again, this is my opinion and it is probably...
