I like this bakery.

The Natas are good and the Portuguese buns are proper. The deli sandwiches I think are the better reason to go.

Service is sometimes up and down but it’s only a bakery so it’s not a big deal.

There used to be an older woman who worked there I always thought of her as the anchor, but I haven’t seen her the last two times I went.

The owner is often around I have been served by him at the counter a couple of times I always get the impression he is a nice but kind of firm guy.

Natas, cod cakes and chicken cakes are all top notch as well as deli sandwiches— Eclairs are also really good filled with custard instead of cream— this bakery is MUCH BETTER THAN NOVA ERA which is pretty much...

Their pastries are inedible. I bought a selection for my home and no one can eat them. I had to throw them out. They use some kind of oil that you can taste throughout their products (where there shouldn't be oil). The "croissant" was just a croissant shaped bun - not a pastry. The oil flavour was in all of the creams (whipped topping, gelaton, custards, icing, etc.). Also several of the pastries were old and dried up.

The only redeeming item was their coffee, which was just okay, wasn't noticeably good.

I've been coming to this cafe for about a week almost daily now. I usually go to Nova Era but decided to give this place a try, and I was really liking it. I was always helped by a young, light-haired girl who is always kind, and I would get my coffee, a baked item, and a turkey sandwich for lunch.

Today, the light-haired girl was busy, and a dark-haired woman was working the register. She was pleasant to the Portuguese man in front of me, but when it was my turn, her attitude changed.
