Shawarma Frenzy — Restaurant in Toronto

If I can give this store anything more than five stars I would. They have everything from chicken shawarma wraps which are quite large and filling to a really good platter which has rice, chicken shawarma meat and veggies. The veggies you get are nice and fresh and you get a nice spring mix salad topped with a housemade vinaigrette.

If your a vegetarian they have you covered as well with falafel which are made to order. They take 8-10 minutes but it's well worth it considering how good they are compared to ones sitting under a heat lamp at other places.

You really can't go wrong here the prices are fair and the quality of the food is amazing they prepare everything the same day and keep everything fresh. If your in the neighbourhood give this place a try especially the lentil soup

I was very surprised by how much care and skill was clearly put into my wrap.

It was a clean half circle that I could pick up without a wrapper, toasted just enough to hold its shape. The inside of the wrap was packed neatly edge to edge without extra folds. From end to end you could see the clear consistent layers of ingredients. It seems like there was even some effort made to make sure all the long ingredients were aligned with the direction of the wrap.

On top of that they have clearly made some specific choices with respect to how they cut the ingredients. The turnips are just a bit thinner than usual, the onions are a bit thicker and the chicken is fine but not shredded. It meant that you could make clean bites without accidentally pulling out too much.

Not to mention it actually tasted good. Veggies were crisp and the chicken was juicy even...

I absolutely love falafels and this place makes them so so so so tasty !!

They are fresh to order. I saw them make up the falafel batter and scoop them out and into the fryer. They are homemade and fresh! If you are in a rush, perhaps this wouldn't work for you, but if you want good falafels, this place will not disappoint!

I ordered a falafel platter for me and a falafel wrap for my husband to go.

The falafel platter had a salad, 3 falafels (they are quite large) and hummus. The tahini and hot sauce on top complimented the dish. I had the small platter and it was filling. It hit the spot!

The inside has plenty of tables, suited for groups of 2-4 people. It was clean and well maintained.

Service was super friendly and inviting.
