You gave me food poisoning. No question. My daughter and I yesterday evening, she had a sushi/sashimi box, I had unagi don. She ordered a bubble tea. She ate most of her box, a few sips of tea, didn't like it. She had a couple bites of mine. I had a bit of her tea. I didn't finish my unagi don but almost. The last bite tasted fishy, I have never tasted such a taste from unagi? Also the drink was essentially coconut water with coconut popping boba and it was warm/room temp. Throw a little edible glitter in and it's nine bucks? Why was it warm. Now sorry for the tmi, but you did it to us so now you have to hear about it. The bloating started within an hour. Within two hours she had severe diarrhea and I vomited no less than eight nine times. I have not slept in 20 hours because I am experiencing muscle cramping from the tip of my toes up. After the sixteenth to me vomiting I still can't rid myself of the taste and smell of your unagi don. Why do you keep your coconut milk at body temperature? Eel doesn't taste fishy. I still can't walk because of the muscle pain and weakness. I have a lot of vomit to clean up. If a senior ate there this would kill them. Also 66 bucks or so for two humble sized boxes? Little pieces and all? I mean I'm glad I didn't eat more, but your pricing isn't supported by your portions (of apparently rotten food.)
(Edit to add, due to this response, yes you have had a similar report. Three months ago, at which point you said no one had complained prior but honestly? How do we know? Only two of us have publicly reviewed and now your telling me no one said so before when yes they have? Just adjust your fridge and throw out the old fish. Cost of doing business. I don't know the order number. I don't feel like figuring this out for you. We were the only customers around Nov 6 6pm. If I weren't so sick from it I might be more civil. Just really not impressed at the claim no one has had a problem, this reply...
Read moreIf you’re going to charge upwards of $23 for a roll and use expensive ingredients, you should know how to use them. I had the soft shell crab roll, it was not good. There was a strange sprinkle of something on top that added no flavor and was a bizarre texture and stale.
I had the yam tempura roll and a dynamite roll both had tempura in them. I found the tempura to be mealy chewy and tough. Which is not the desired texture of tempura.
The ginger and wasabi were cheap, the wasabi lacking any flavor.
Additionally, the rolls were huge. Not really easy to eat. Way too much rice, the rice was also dry.
The packaging was great though. An aesthetically beautiful place, but don’t be fooled by the aesthetics.
Overall, I think there’s a lot of work to be done with the quality of the food and use of ingredients, especially given the price...
Read moreWell, if you know me, you know that I don’t like to just write nice things; I’m one hundred percent honest in my opinions. I ordered takeout sushi for my birthday. It was two boxes of different sushi, and believe me, I’ve tried millions of sushi, but this one was really good. It was so appealing, tasty, and tempting that I couldn’t wait until I got home, so I finished half of it in the car. I absolutely loved it and will definitely come back for more.
