I'm giving this rating on the most recent experience the past weekend. I'll first say that my first visit was wonderful, it was during an early weekday and the server was wonderful and the food was great. It was so good we decided to bring our parents this past weekend for a late breakfast (it was around 1pm) and the place was busy but not packed. My issue was that the server wasn't great. When the food finally arrived, everyone got their correct order except myself - the entire plate wasnt right (i probably got someone elses order) and the server went to the kitchen to bring the right order. I had asked for medium poached eggs and when my food finally arrived I had received two small hard lumps that were clearly overcooked (you could see the yolk had a green tinge) I questioned whether it was a runny yolk and he assured me it was. I quickly pierced the egg to demonstrate and he said he would return with new eggs. This is where my issue begins. I don't know if he didn't like me pointing this out but I was basically ignored for a very long time. Everyone had essentially finished their food and I was still waiting (I hadn't touched my toast or meat as I like to eat it together... so you can imagine it was cold). Finally he caught my eye and said it'll be just a minute. My guess is he forgot because he finally came back with my eggs which were so cold.... it mustve been sitting there awhile. As he put them down he asked if they were OK now (yes before i had a chance to even glance at them)... I said yes immediately because everyone was waiting and obviously everything is cold and I wanted to be out of there. My issue was this guy probably shouldn't have been a server. He didn't get anything about being a server. He didn't think about food being cold. There were absolutely no apologies - in fact i felt like i was doing him a favour by ordering and being a nuicance not accepting an incorrect order. While i do appreciate he may have been newer to Canada and maybe expectations are different, his lack of care really put me off. I'm conflicted because the first visit was so great and the second was soooo poor. I guess i would only go during the weekday at an "dead" time rather than any busy time. I have to say that I went from a raving fan to the complete opposite. I don't want to return and would probably try request somewhere else. Giving them a second chance could mean spending a lot of money on cold horrible food and leaving...

I normally don't write negative reviews unless I have to but my experience with the service and staff at this location was horrible. Food was alright, flavors were there, but my soup came cold, my hot drink came in a glass (not sure if this is the norm), my potatoes were half warm-half hot, and my sunny side eggs still had the whites undercooked/raw. I'm not one to complain about food as long as it's not horrible, which it wasn't. My issue was with the service. Monday June 30 (morning), I had to deal with some of the most unfriendly staff to the point it felt like they were discriminating against me and my partner. I can forgive mediocre service, however the young girl and boy, and the older woman that worked that day ignored me and my partners table altogether. After serving our food, none of the servers came to check on our table once, but I observed them go out of their way to check in on all the other tables and ask them about their food and serve them more water; all as they proceeded to skip past my table. Towards the end of my meal, I needed water and since noone came to check on our table I flagged the older server for water. 10 minutes pass, nothing. I ask another server (the young boy) for water, and another 10 minutes pass and still nothing. At this point I was frustrated with the discriminatory service and just wanted to leave so asked a third server for the bill. More time passes, still nothing but I finally got a refill on the water. I just wanted to leave as the discriminatory and lack of service had me lose my appetite and had me eager to leave so me and my partner went to the front counter to be cashed out. Finally the young girl server came up to us, flatly told us "here's the bill" and walked away. I didnt realize you can just give the customer the bill and walk away without checking if they paid or not. I paid for my meal and left. I had wanted to talk to management to address my concerns but it was early in the morning and I didnt want to start off my day on a bad note so I simply left. I've worked in the food industry before so I understand the bad service from select staff does not represent the buisiness as a whole but I hope management does look into the customer service standards of specifically the staff that worked that day, as the way I was treated at this location was horrible and honestly the worst service...

I really wanted to love this place!! I was so excited that we got a new breakie place since the grille closed its doors. While we waited for our table I questioned myself when I saw what appeared to be someone from management picking something out of a customer's fruit bowl with his fingers and sending it right out to the table. When the staff member noticed that I saw him, he gave me an awkward smirk.

We ordered the kids meals as soon as we sat down to get them started and ordered our meals about 10 mins later...my bad I forgot to ask for bacon well done and kindly asked the server to have it cooked a little longer for the kids....we didn't get the 2 pieces of bacon back till we were all half way done our meals. Also i ordered the canadian hash which was filled with more bacon fat then i could handle, which made it difficult to finish. The server also never once came back and asked if we were ok or needed refills on coffee, which we did need.

I really hate complaining and also have never took the time to write a review on a restaurant but I figured this visit needed to be spoken about. So now after waiting for something our entire visit I asked to speak to a manager...to my surprise the finger fruit picker came to the table and introduced himself as the OWNER!! This is when it all started to make sense. I told him my concerns and said I'm not asking for a discount or a compt. meal, rather just passing along some suggestions as I also manage a breakfast restaurant full time and know what's it's like to open a new place. He graciously stated he would remove the fatty bacon hash and give the entire table a discount. I told him this was not the reason for me talking to him and that it wasn't necessary...he said it was the least he could do. When I received the bill i saw nothing but an insulting $3.40 off the entire bill. I really wanted to love this place but will not be returning. It's unfortunate because the menu and pics look amazing. Not in...

UPDATE: One of the owners, Karan, reached out to us after our previous experience. They were genuinely interested in hearing more and invited us back to give their establishment another try. We accepted the offer, and my husband and I are glad we did—we had a great experience this time. When we arrived, we spoke with the other owner, Shailly, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. She wanted to hear firsthand about our original visit, viewing it as a learning opportunity. We had a thoughtful conversation, and she sincerely apologized for what had happened. We were then seated and taken care of by our server, Jyoti, who was excellent. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the overall atmosphere was much improved. This experience really changed our perspective, and we’re looking forward to visiting again. Experience Oct 2024 My least favorite of the Stacked restaurants that I've gone to. Food is fine it's the service. We sat around waiting to make our order. Got our food minus some of the things we requested. Our server came by we told her she got what we needed and then...we didn't see her again. Not until her co-worker, who seemed like they knew what customer service was got her from the back and told her to come see us. On another occasion I came in for a pick up and I get it, it's busy but I was just standing there and maybe the other person thought someone else would help me but it took ppl constantly passing me by and me eventually just being like "hey. Could I get some help here" for me to pay and bring my order home. All in all, this location is literally 5 min from my house and I make the trip to Mississauga if I want to eat at Stacked.

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Susie during my recent visit to Stacked Pancake Restaurant, and I can honestly say she made the entire experience stand out. From the moment we were seated, Susie greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine sense of hospitality that instantly made us feel welcome. She struck that perfect balance between being attentive without ever feeling overbearing, and it was clear she truly enjoys connecting with her guests. What impressed me most was how knowledgeable Susie was about the menu. She gave thoughtful recommendations, pointing out some of the most popular dishes while also sharing her personal favorites. Thanks to her suggestion, I tried something I wouldn’t normally order, and it turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Her enthusiasm for the food came across naturally, and it made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Throughout our meal, Susie checked in on us at just the right times, making sure our drinks were always topped up and that we had everything we needed. She anticipated little details before we even asked, which shows how attentive and caring she is with her guests. Even when the restaurant started getting busy, she maintained the same level of energy, friendliness, and professionalism. It’s rare to come across a server who not only provides excellent service but also creates such a positive and memorable dining atmosphere. Susie did exactly that. Because of her, I’ll definitely be returning to Stacked Pancake Restaurant, and I’ll be recommending it to friends and family as well. If you ever visit, I highly encourage you to ask for Susie—you’ll be in great hands!

Honestly, best breakfast restaurant food I've ever had. Tons of options for food and pancakes, burgers, etc. eggs were alright, pancakes were great, good service too. What surprised me the most though, were the potatoes. Only time I've ever had good side potatoes at a breakfast restaurant. They were well salted, well seasoned, goes great with the hollandaise sauce. 10/10, will be back soon. Thanks, guys. Update, 2 years later- Well, I came here on a mother's Day. I changed my review from 5 stars across the board to 3 stars. First, expect at least a 1 hour wait on mother's Day. Not their fault, just thought I would comment about it. As you can see above, I loved the home fries they had. Looks like it all went to shit. Maybe it's because of mother's Day rush the quality went down, but this is a pattern I've seen across like 3 locations by now. The fries are now unseasoned, greasy potato cubes. Without ketchup, it's basically inedible. Second, don't even bother with the eggs on the side. Also unseasoned, lukewarm eggs with no texture or flavor. I got the blueberry pancake platter with 2 blueberry pancakes (with almost no blueberries and just a big stripe of blueberry jam down the middle), the bacon was stringy, with no crunch and yet also dry?!? The breakfast sausage was okay, I guess. Service was fine for a busy day like this, and food wait times were long, as expected. I'll update this review after I visit this location on a day that isn't a holiday.
