Subway — Restaurant in Toronto

Good fast food store in Parkwoods Plaza. Store opened in 2016 and have eaten or ordered through Uber eats, many many times.

All food is fresh and sandwiches are made to your liking in front of you. I would like to commend Ellen and the manager which are both very professional, food knowledgeable, great customer service and extremely friendly and engaging with customers.

Good prices on daily specials, starting at $4.39. I usually get combos by adding a soup and a drink, or a cookie.

I will be back soon to this Subway location, where Ellen already knows my type of bread, cheese, veggies and sauces I like. 5 stars rating for the location, cleanliness and food, are justified. If you find yourself in the neighbourhood, I highly recommend it.👍

Stopped going to them during the pandemic. Also, saw a documentary, where chicken breast 100% pieces were compared, between Subway and 4 other fast food chains. Subway chicken breast was the only one, containing only 50% chicken breast meat.

Rest of the chicken breast, was fillers and grilled marks on chicken breast are done manually, not that the chicken breast was ever grilled.

Am so not ordering anything with chicken breast from them. There was a guy on that show, that was "crazy" on Subway chicken breast sandwiches and got very "deflated" over the quality during tasting process. So am I, as used to order mainly that.

Subway still didn't get back to the producers of that documentary, regarding the chicken breast advertised as 100%, when in fact tested in a food lab, showed only 50%. Very...

I cannot justify eating here anymore. Its not the location at all. The prices have just gone up way too much. I used to balk at firehouse or quiznos for being too expensive (although both taste better so its kind of a splurge thing) but these days they seem like competitive options. A couple years ago it was 15 dollars for a footlong combo, then it went up to 16.50 post pandemic due to inflation (still "reasonable", everything got more expensive), now after the "prebuilt menu" change its almost 19 dollars. They also hide the prices for most build your own sub options on the menu which makes me think that the cashier has to ring it up as a more expensive prebuilt sub or something.

I went to subway, this subway in particular, whenever I wanted to treat myself with fast food that felt a tiny bit healthier than mcdonalds or a&w. Now it kind of feels like i'm being tricked out of my money and its never worth the price. Last few times i've went post-new menu i've just regretted it.

As for this location, it's alright. My order has been gotten wrong a few times and there were various quality issues but nothing more than what you deal with in other fast food chains. The staff are nice and the restaurant is always clean so thats honestly higher than most other fast food places on york mills. I'll give an extra star just...

A girl who was making a sub at 9:30 on Friday, February 21st should be fired. As someone who has been satisfied with the service of other employees at this location for years and as a business owner, I would have been seriously concerned if I had an employee like her. We've all seen in every fast food restaurants how ingredients are thrown in the air and splashed into burgers and sandwiches during rush hours, but that's okay because we understand the hassle. This time was something completely different. If she had been in a rush I would have felt sorry for her, but I was shocked and felt very insulted that this didn't seem to have nothing to do with rushing. With that smile on her face at the beginning though, and quickly wiping the smile off her face, she puts her personal feelings into the sandwich or something. I don't know what was going through her mind. I asked her if she had just started her job here, assuming she might be getting her training who doesn’t yet know how to properly make a sub, she said “no.” I really hope the owner of this place to zoom in on the sub she makes with the security camera and see how she expresses her attitude toward the innocent customer. I will never go back to this location until...
