I used their website to perform a large online order for curbside pickup and found it to be a very straightforward and easy process. Beware that you can't park along Bathurst St for the curbside pickup, but you can easily park along Southbourne Ave a few metres away. The food itself was quite yummy and definitely made fresh. I was full before I even finished my plate! After trying out many silog dishes throughout Toronto, this is definitely in my top five of all time. I also took a peek inside the restaurant and I found it to look very modern and clean unlike many well-established Filipino restaurants in the area. It even includes a nice patio seating area with sun cover for your outdoor dining needs. Lastly, I noticed some negative reviews come off very passive-aggressive and purposefully negative. Beware of those reviews and the least you can do is try the food here and see for yourself.

If you live in North York and are looking to try out something different from the typical diner style breakfasts, Top Silog is a great option. They serve Filipino breakfast all day and we ordered the Beef Tapa Silog and Lechon Kawali Silog. We are no experts in Filipino cuisine, but can confirm a spoonful of meat, sticky rice, fried egg and pickled papaya was the perfect bite. And if you are not too particular about the number of sugars/creams in your coffee, definitely try their 3 in 1 Kopiko coffee. You will love it especially if you grew up enjoying Kopiko candy like we did. However, the highlight was how the hostess made us feel like we were at her home! She was super warm and funny too! We left with our hearts and bellies full!

Maybe our expectations are high but our meal was just ok. Rice was dry and needed more garlic. Egg was overdone. I thought the portions were kind of small; the papaya salad was more of a garnish than a side. The meat is sliced super thin. Overall it was pretty tasty, though. No prices on the menus which was a little.. Questionable? I think it's actually required to have prices posted. Not a big deal as we're happy to support the place. People there were super nice.

This was my previous 1 star review of this location 4 months ago:

“I came into this Restaurant with my Wife a few weeks after they opened and we ordered takeout. She had the Tapsilog and I had the Tosilog. Firstly the customer service was quite nice the lady that took our order was very polite, and we were quite excited for our food, but when we got home we found that we had an extremely small portion of food, the tocino was more sour than sweet and both of our fried eggs were undercooked (The whites at the centre of the egg were still wet and runny). This was quite disappointing as we live in the area and support most of all the Filipino restaurants here.

Update: I am now updating my review and leaving this place with a 5 star rating. They have improved significantly since they first opened. The food has been consistently well cooked every time we come here, the customer service is still top notch, the food portions are very generous and the prices are very good for the area. My wife and I are now regulars and we will continue to order and come...

We were craving a hearty Filipino breakfast this morning and decided to try their food, and it was totally worth it! We ordered the lechon kawali, daing, beef tapa and chicken inasal.

We had such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt friendly and welcoming. The owner was incredibly kind and genuinely cared about every guest that came through the door. One moment that really stood out to me was when a homeless man came in — it was clear the owner knew him, and without hesitation, she treated him with so much kindness and dignity. It showed how much heart this place has, not just for their customers but for the community too.

The food was absolutely delicious! They have every kind of tapa you can think of — the menu is packed with options, and everything we ordered was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. On top of all that, the customer service was amazing. You can tell they really care about giving people a great experience.

Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be...
