Yumys — Restaurant in Toronto

Guys, DO NOT GO HERE! The customer service is really bad, the wait time is tremendously long, and they give old chicken rather than preparing a fresh batch.

When I entered I noticed the place empty and the workers were just sitting and doing nothing. After giving my order (3 yumys on sticx and 2pc chicken) I had to wait an HOUR! The store was not crowded... AT ALL. I was the only one there.

When it was time to pack my chicken the worker came with a fresh batch, but the lady at the counter packing the food gave me the old chicken that was left to the side. I had to ask for the fresh chicken. No napkins, utensils, ketchup packs, or sauces were given even tho I ASKED and PAID extra.

After getting home the food was mediocre and a real letdown. I don't understand why the wait time was extremely long when I was the only person there. Other fast food places like Popeyes are extremely crowded on the daily, but they still manage to get food out within 20 minutes and NOT an hour. Just ordered 4 pcs. with potato wedges & fish and chips...very disappointed. I was told that this place had great chicken; this was not the case with this order. Fish was small and VERY OILY. For a second I thought they forgot my fish but it was placed under the very soggy (with oil) fries. The chicken was also very oily and I received less than a handful of wedges some were as small as a quarter. Biscuit tasted as if it was not cooked...doughy. As for the gravy..it was awful...I can't figure out exactly what it tastes like. I'm looking at some of the pictures people posted but my order did not look anything like theirs...especially the fries. It was a waste of my money...but you be the judge for...

Generally I enjoy this place and usually come here for chicken burger and Deluxe Poutine. When I ordered this time the owner stated when I received the plate that there were “no veggies and onions” left for the poutine “sorry”. Not a big deal right? But then I see the cook sitting inside eating poutine with green onions! 2 issues.

1. Should have told me there are no veggies left before I ordered or before my order was prepared.

2. How does it look when you say you don’t have an item and 5 min later the worker inside in plane sight is eating it?
