Some of the best quality, quantity and customer service I've had in a long time!! So you have a longing for a good calzone but only have $20.00 in your pocket...where would you go? Have you ever seen a freshly made fully loaded calzone so big it comes in it's own pizza box?!! A calzone so big they serve it to you cut in 8 pieces?!!! A calzone so packed full with fresh veggies and meat that you'll actually enjoy it for leftovers?!! As I ate mine we we're thinking how one of these would be perfect if you had a buddy or two over watching a game. This is possibly my 6th or 7th calzone I'm after ordering from 3 of the 4 Sal's restaurants I've been to and every time it taste exactly the same...the best calzone I've ever had. Now I've had many other items on the menu as well and everything is awesome, but I just can't get over the pure size of what a $15.00 calzone looks like! Yep you read right...an 8 piece fully loaded delivered in a pizza box with the crispiest crust you'll ever eat calzone for only $15.00!!!! You have to try one, oh and while you're there why not try an order of fries, they're out of this...

Went in today for lunch during work. Ordered a Sals Donair and a rootbeer milkshake. Food was amazing. Customer service sucked. I forgot to ask for a reciept the owner didn't know how to work his till and reprint it. I told him I needed the receipt for expenses. He rudely told me "Why didn't you ask for one before?" Cause I forgot DAD, I thought to myself he then rudely told me to eat my lunch in my truck while he helped his customers. There was only one other person there. If this new owner wasn't such a p*ick I'd go back as the food was great. However I am a man of principles and no customer should be treated this way for a reasonable request. I will not return which is a shame as I spend a lot of time at nearby...

I'm always looking for a good mushroom burger. While on a trip home from Athabasca, I asked a local if there were any good and fast places to eat. He said that Sal's has the best mushroom burgers. Sold! Sal's didn't disappoint. It was the best mushroom burger I've had in decades! The bun was super fresh, the beef patty was big, juicy, seasoned and cooked just right, the mushrooms and mushroom sauce were super flavourful, and the cheddar cheese was a tangy surprise. I've promised my mom who lives in Edmonton and loves mushroom burgers too that we'll be making the ~2 hour trip north so she can try one too....
