We stopped in for our 30th anniversary dinner on our way to watch our daughter barrel race at the Annapolis valley Exhibition. Even though it got busy quick, Morgan our lovely waitress handled it like a pro. We were on a time schedule so she just looked after us along with everyone else. We met the most lovely folks there. Terry and Mike who are regulars. Please tell them we made it in time to see our girl. Food was so good, we had brushetta, seafood chowder and the clubhouse. Then I forgot my cell there, zipped back and knowing we were in a hurry Morgan met me at the door with it. What a fantastic restaurant! So happy that we discovered this wonderful restaurant while looking for a nice place for dinner in the valley. The space has a relaxed, homey atmosphere; the staff were all welcoming and service was fast and friendly. The extensive menu all sounded delicious, but as a group we really enjoyed the grilled halloumi burger, the Reuben sandwich and the turkey club. The special (ribs) was also a hit. This is our third visit to Kellock's. We travel through Berwick periodically and now make this a required stop since discovering it a few months ago. Located in a grand old house, the atmosphere is low-key and very relaxing, no blaring radio or noisy kid's parties. The service is excellent, and the food is fabulous. Don't expect Burger King prices! This isn't a fast food joint; it's a quality restaurant for people who want to treat themselves.
