The service was the only redeeming factor for the visit giving it 2 stars (overall )instead 1. The staff were friendly and trying their best to get orders out.

The pulled chicken we had was exceptionally bland, it had zero flavour (tasted like cooked unseasoned chicken) . The portion sizes for the meat were small, and overall too expensive for the price paid. Two tacos coming in at $15 is a bit steep for the amount of protein received. I also got a burrito (large), and (the only flavour it garnered was from the blueberry habanero sauce). The rice was not fresh, despite it being busy, it was not fluffy, but very “cakey”, and bland, my daughter didn’t finish her order of it. The beans were a complete miss and were the worst tasting refried beans we have ever had (Not an exaggeration) . For the atmosphere the restaurant felt cramped and the service counter to pick out toppings was too small. While I understand it did just open, I feel an extra set of hands in the kitchen and on the line could have helped speed things up. Overall for the total of $96.00 after tax the value was not there, and we were disappointed. We were really excited too when we heard a new taco place was opening and wished to support local, but...

We have gone here many times and should have written a glowing review long before now. But tonight we went in and they had a November nacho special going on and it was the best experience yet. Tons of chips, plentiful with the toppings and just overall tasty. (Had sub-par nachos for double the price at Boston Pizza on Commercial recently and they don't hold a candle to these!) Plus they quality checked us at the table and gave us a virgin-strawberry marg to try. (aka they actually care!) Overpriced or gouging as some claim? In a province where greasy Popeye's charges $11.75 for one spicy chicken sandwich when it's only $3.99 in the US? No way - worth every penny here. Of all the places to eat from Canning to Wolfville this is truly the place I would spend my hard earned dollars for a sit down meal with quality ingredients - please open even more restaurants in different cuisines (Italian, Japanese, ect,) as you guys know how to do it right and keep me coming back. (We even bought socks to tout our love of all things...

This place may be new, but don‘t let that fool you; it runs as if it‘s a classic mom and pop shop! The first thing you‘ll notice as you walk in is how kind the staff is. Not just kind in a professional manner, but they have genuine smiles and seem happy to chat! They‘ll give you recommendations for the best items on the menu, which is something I found quite amusing and enjoyed. Next, you‘ll smell how delicious everything is. So, as you sit and wait for your food (which is not long at all), you‘ll be shocked to find it tastes as good as it smells! Perfectly seasoned with your choice of toppings, it doesn‘t get much better. Lastly, their choice of drinks is wide and they are delicious! We‘d recommend their margaritas, and for children, their wholesome bottled juices and pops! We were expecting great, but this went above our expectations. Thank you so much for the amazing service and food!...

Friendly and thoughtful service paired with delicious, lip smacking and finger-licking good tacos done the way YOU want? Yes please! What a great idea to make bespoke tacos. I had corn-based tortillas (best I’ve had: light and flavourful) with proteins from local sources and let the taco makers surprise me with toppings and sauces. I was delightfully surprised and impressed with the freshness and quality on offer. The owner is friendly and part of the team. My taco maker didn’t just make my taco and move on; he made sure I had what I needed and offered extra tortillas to make sure I didn’t miss a morsel of great food! And the variety of drinks was a lovely bonus. Great food and a great price. I would definitely return if I lived in the area…alas, I will have to put it on my list of restaurants to return to next time I’m in Kentville. If you haven’t been, go!

This is apparently supposed to be a $12 quesadilla with a cookie. Apparently this is supposed to be a kid's meal which is an absolute joke. I mean how old is this kid supposed to be? Three? This has got to be the absolute worst value for a quesadilla that I've ever seen. On top of that, my son gets a bottle of water for $2.50. I'm sorry but I can drive to Walmart and buy an entire case of water with 500ml for $6.50 and get 24 bottles... Realistically I can't see this place staying open very long if this is the type of prices that they're charging people. I mean this is ridiculous pricing beyond anything that I can imagine.
