I go to this Tim Hortons daily before work and often In the evenings as well. Aside from the long waits and line ups to the street, it's fair customer service that I typically receive. However, last night I ordered two breakfast sandwiches with a friend in the drive thru. I was served by an employee who had accidentally given me .30 cents change from my 20$ bill rather than $11.30 as I should have. I am a former Tim Hortons employee and understand mistakes happen. I had addressed this at the window and expected to recieve my change. Instead, I was rudely told she could not open the till and I would have to speak to the manager in the morning. I was given a paper to sign stating I was owed $10, still not $11. I was annoyed but left the drive thru. Because the doors close after 11pm, I went through the drive thru again and paid for Tim bits. I asked if I could recieve my change from my first time around the drive thru as she had the till opened. She explained to me its policy for them at this location. If you recieve the wrong change, you have to wait for the till to be counted in the morning, then contacted by the manager to have your change returned to you. This policy would be extremely inconvenient for customers who are not from town, or who may have given a bigger bill. I asked her name, as she was not wearing a name tag and not the only employee in the building. In case I had issues in the morning, I wanted to know who I was speaking to. She told me she did not have to give me her name, closed the window, and went to the back of the store where the second employee followed. A moment later she returned, even more annoyed with my questions and told me her name was Lynn. She told me that should the til be over in the morning the manager would contact me and if the til is not short then "I guess you won't get a call and you will be out the money". I left confused and angry. I recieved a call In the morning that the manager had watched the surveillance and to come get my money. She handed it to me when I arrived in a tim's bag and when I asked to make a complaint about the rude service the night before she told me as well that it was policy. I had tried to explain the conversation between myself and Lynn, that had taken place. Before I finished my first sentence at the counter, the manager dismissed me as she was walking back towards the back of the store, told me she would speak to her about it, and immediately began another conversation with an employee. This was very inconvenient for me and I feel that despite my attempt at being understanding and patient, the situation was dealt with terribly. I feel this is a drastic policy to have at your establishment and should you choose to, your staff should be more careful. Again, I understand mistakes happen, but I was treated like an inconvenience to the staff and manager due to a mistake that I...
Read moreOrdered a buffalo ranch wrap with a large iced coffee and a doughnut. man at the window just sticks the debit machine at me, and hands me a medium. I try to correct him and say it was supposed to be a large and he just says “no medium” when I clearly paid for a large and it was on the drive-through screen that I ordered a large. The donut was stuffed in a bag with napkins all over it sticking to it and the wrap had none of the ingredients that it was even supposed to have on it. It was just a bunch of lettuce, tomato and chicken with no sauce. No rice or anything like that. please for the love of god just tell me you can’t make it or you’re missing ingredients instead of selling me something that isn’t even made right. I feel scammed and ripped off. i’m not even one to normally make a review nor complain about an incorrect item, but this was just pure...
Read moreI’m a regular of this Tim Hortons. I order a red eye iced capp normally.
The staff here always make me feel like that is such a huge ask or that I’m being inconvenient by ordering something that’s literally on the menu.
Today I went through the drive through at 7pm. The staff did not look at me, just said “debit?” And stuck the machine in my window. Passed me out an iced cap that is visually not right and then closed the window ignoring me.
I feel that the lack of communication from the staff at this location is glaring. I’ve come to expect a smile and maybe a have a good day in a Tim’s drive through. This location is more like glares and guilt.
It’s almost comical how much this happens. Tims you...
