Eaten here a few times, it was typically okay. Nothing special, fairly average. However, prices have gone up and food quality has gone down. A combo takeout order and a wonton soup was $40.
Now let's talk about the combo plate, the beef that was in the beef and greens portion, had this gooey slime type stuff all over it. It was so slippery even to touch. I immediately scraped that out of the takeout container and tossed it before it came in contact with any more of my so-called food. The ginger beef, I might as well have just picked up some rocks off the ground and tried to chew them, would have had the same consistency. I couldn't eat them because I simply couldn't chew them. It would quite honestly hurt your teeth to try to bite that hard to get through some of them. The chicken balls, they had no sauce on them. Extremely Bland and no taste and ironically this was probably the best tasting thing in the dish lol. Their rice is usually as dry as dust and you need to wash down every mouthful with a drink of in order to have the physical capability of swallowing, so I asked for chow mein instead of rice. Of course there's an extra charge to substitute something edible.
Here's the kicker, the next day I went to heat up some of the leftovers, the ginger beef started sparking in my microwave and made my microwave smoke. Needless to say everything went in the garbage and now I'm sitting here with a blown up microwave wondering if I consumed some type of metal fragments in my beef. It would sure explain why it hurt my teeth to eat. Not quite sure how to handle this situation, or whether my first call should be a doctor, a lawyer or the food...
Read moreStopped in on Saturday October 8th for their Dinner Buffet. The place was empty but while we enjoyed our meal, many came in for pick up. Lots of seating, tables were clean and the server was very attentive. Their Buffet isn't big but they still have many options offered. All the staples that you are looking for can be found plus some desserts. Sampled a little bit of everything and it was all soo good. I always start with Wonton Soup and then enjoyed two plates. Picking a little bit of everything meant I got to pretty much try it all. Would happily go back again for either the Buffet or a la carte. They food...
Read moreNothing negative to say whatsoever. The low score for atmosphere is a general theme in many Chinese restaurants , and the service is rarely what you'd expect from a place like the Keg or something, but if you're a frequent visitor to chinese places, the service and atmosphere are completely on par.
The salt and pepper chicken is fantastic, the dry ribs were great. Beef and broccoli is amazing, and the chicken wings weren't bad. The ginger beef was gingery, but heavily breaded. I didn't have much else. I think this place is a...
