Well..... this place is a must! First the decor of TF is full of local artists, which you can purchase, plus the feel of the restaurant is very welcoming. We got lucky and got a table, it was booked solid with reservations! Our lovely waitress greeted us very politely and got us our drinks. She came and got our orders, my wife had the bison burger with yam fries, I had the house burger with regular fries. For our appetizer we had a house made preserve sampler with fresh crossiants. They were amazing.... we had a Holly jolly (taste like Christmas lol), a citrus marmalade, and a blueberry jalapeño jam (my favorite lol) delicious!! Plus the crossiants were freshly baked, the burgers...... probably the best burgers I've had in a long time.... the bison had the blueberry jalapeño jam on it with a garlic aioli i... incredible. Mine had the house made BBQ sauce, bacon, plus some pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes. Again just incredible. They both had a local cheese from vermillion, it was a peppercorn cheddar, which added such a nice flavour to the burgers. Delicious!! Our waitress told us all about everything and answered all of my questions (which were alot lol) but she did it all with a smile and was extremely pleasant :) we had the creme Brule for dessert, which they flavour depending on the month I believe... today was espresso creme Brule.... ssssooooooooo good. I basically licked the bowl clean. Even after the owner came and we had a great chat about her preserves, what she uses, how she blends the flavours and why she picks those ingredients. She was very knowledgeable and you could tell.... we bought 2 jars of jam, one was the blueberry jalapeño and an blueberry earl grey.... which she brought us a sample of it, such a unique flavour and so delicious! Highly recommend coming here. They support local, use local ingredients, and combine them into such wonderful flavours. You will not be disappointed with this place. Will eat here again. 12/10. Oh! The dill sauce that the sweet potato fries comes with.... do yourself a favour and get some with your fries lol taste like dill pickle chips! So simple...
Read moreIs it possible for a fork to be both twisted and perfect? Well… in St. Paul, Alberta — apparently, yes.
The Twisted Fork is more than a restaurant. It’s a culinary statement. A place where comfort food is elevated to something memorable, made with care, and served with joy. From the moment you walk in, the cleanliness, decor, and welcoming energy tell you you’re in good hands.
🍽 The Food: Top-Notch from Start to Finish
We tried a wide variety — and honestly, not a single weak link: • Mac and cheese so creamy and customizable it feels like a hug from the inside. • Chicken wings with a flavor punch that would make a BBQ pitmaster jealous. • Burger and yam fries — I don’t know what they do to those fries, but I’m telling you… probably the best I’ve had in my life. • Roasted red pepper soup — rich, balanced, full of flavor. • Black Forest waffles — dessert and nostalgia rolled into one. Everything was clearly crafted with excellence and intention.

Read moreVery disappointed!, Is there any quality control? Does your buyer actually know what a Rib Eye steak looks like? Rib Eyes are round that do not have grizzle or unchewable rinds. What I received was an attempt at a New York steak I think. Your menu advertised this "Thing" as a 1 inch cut of Rib Eye. I received a very conservative 1/2 inch cut of New York or Sirloin. Wait, there's more. We were seated at our table, our drink orders were taken I had coffee my wife ended up with a very sour undrinkable Sangria. We ordered our appetizer that was some sort of a meat and cheese plate. We were not even half way through our appetizer when the waitress approached us and said "oh I didn't notice that you were still working on your appetizer but your mains are ready, should I put them in the oven to keep them warm?" Really?. I noticed that you have an open kitchen in your restaurant, I also noticed that there was no one, in my opinion over 18 in the kitchen. All I saw was 4 "Kids" cooking in there that recieved their previous culinary skills from DQ and MacDonalds. Is there actually a Chef in your restaurant? Did they actually get their diploma? My family has backgrounds in the food industry. My mom and oldest daughter are both professional licenced Chefs, my youngest daughter is a professional Baker and Cake Decorator. I am not just blowing smoke here I think I know a little bit about the food industry. It's about providing your customers with a memorable experience not massive revenue generation for your establishment. Anyway, your waitress dropped a $165.00 bill on me that I paid. I hope you enjoyed my $3.00 tip that I...
