This place used to be a lot better; not sure if recent decline is due to the location itself, or orders/constraints coming from higher up.
I placed a mobile order through the app today after work. I arrived at the Drive-Thru and was told that they couldn't give me the items I had ordered - 2 Egg & Cheese Farmer's Wraps - because they stop serving breakfast at 4pm. OK, if that's the case then ideally the app would have prevented me from ordering breakfast items (and I thought Tims' advertises all-day breakfast anyway?)... but whatever, no biggie I can deal with that. However, I'm not psychic; how am I expected to know that I can't order specific items after 4pm if the tool I'm using to place said order doesn't tell me?
I then asked if I could get refunded for the items I had ordered since they are unavailable - had to wait a minute, then I was instead told that I could pick any of the chicken wraps as a replacement. I don't eat meat so said that wouldn't really work for me, and once again requested a refund for the items I had ordered. Waited a bit again, and this time I was told that they could make any of the wrap items without meat (so literally just a wrap with Lettuce, Tomato, and mayo/ranch/whatever sauce?). I wasn't satisfied with that so again asked if I could get a refund and this was told I could also swap my wraps for 2 Caprese sandwiches. Rather than wasting time having my question blatantly ignored again, I caved and said OK to that - at least it's something I can still eat. Then I find out they don't actually have the mozza for the Caprese (they're out), so I accept cheddar instead. So at the end of this, I leave with something that I didn't actually order - and even my substitution items couldn't be made properly (according to recipe/menu).
If I have already paid you for the item and you aren't able to give me that item when I come to pick it up, that's fine - sometimes glitches happen or small mistakes get made, that's completely understandable. What really annoys me about this is that I requested a refund THREE SEPARATE TIMES and was ignored each time then offered subpar substitutions. If you would have just acknowledged my question instead of deflecting, I wouldn't have been so angry, but at this point I feel like I've been lied to (false advertising with "all day breakfast") and ripped off. If I order an item from literally almost any other business and it is out of stock or otherwise unavailable when I come in to pick it up, a REFUND is generally considered to be a standard way to resolve that discrepancy, no? (Since a raincheck doesn't really work in this situation.) Needless to say, it will be a long while before I return to this location again.
So potential customers BEWARE - apparently this Tim's won't give you your money back once they already have it, even if the...
Read moreStopped in to use the bathroom that was so dirty and no toilet paper , water everywhere, looked garbage door open . Then went to order food and waited over ten minutes while watching people ask for service and get told by staff they are busy so the customers walked out. While it was my turn a nice girl who was new named Kayla helped me. I told her and she was apologetic. I ordered soup for my child to take on the road so asked for a few icecubes in it. When I got it from a slow working girl I checked because I could feel the cold through the bag. It was full of ice so I scooped it out with my hand and asked the girl if she could top it up with hot soup. She rolled her eyes and went back where she took out of my container and added then took out again and added agai… she did that a few times and I’m not sure why. When she brought my soul back I said I put my hands in it to scoop the ice out. She was mad and said “ well is it good enough now?” I responded with “ I just want you in to know I put my hands in it and you put it back in that container for customers “ she was even more mad and said “well is it good enough for you!?! “ we went on like this so I asked her name and she responded with “ no”… anyway I just didn’t want my son to be burnt with hot soul so asked for a couple icecubes and the worker wasn’t having it… The service was great from that Kayla but wow the other was horrible so was the older lady… I...
Read moreBy far the worst Tim Hortons in Alberta. Longest wait times even if you're the only person in line ordering a black coffee. Gets orders wrong constantly. They are confused by their own app. 100% priority in drive through. Almost impossible hear them in the drive through. You have to speak loudly to point of borderline screaming because their drive through headsets are muffled can't hear you. Seen so many people walk out of standing line because they take forever to serve and ignore you and they don't care
If you want to save time, not worry having your order messed up, and have decent service go to the McDonald's at the Walmart nearby for your coffee. Save you 15 minutes of time even if there are 15 people...
