A&W Canada — Restaurant in Town of Vegreville

EDIT: The quality of food and service has greatly improved at this location since my last review. Their hours have changed and they often shut down ordering off the app but overall there has been a HUGE improvement. For this reason I am changing my original 2 star review. I'm glad we chose to give them another try instead of writing them off completely. We have since ordered a couple of times and so far all orders have been cooked well, correct and service is friendly. Good job to whomever stepped up and implemented the much needed changes!

This store CONSTANTLY has issues.. whether it be raw chicken burgers, cold food, order being wrong.. its always something! Lately they have been shutting off their app so you can’t order online, locking their doors hours before they actually close or being closed altogether because they can’t keep enough staff to work a shift. Now its drive thru and we order and then get to the window for them to tell us “oh sorry we don’t have what you ordered”.. well then why didn’t you say that WHILE i was ordering so i could choose something else instead of wasting my time?!? I have seen the staff try so hard to keep up and you can see and feel the tension of the work environment when you go in store. First time going to this A&W I went thru the drive thru and asked for no lettuce on my burger which when I got it was not removed. When leaving drive thru I said thank you and the young guy responded by looking at me and then continuing socializing with his co worker which I believe was rude. Then when I opened the bag I noticed that the chipotle sauce I was given was less then half of the container and when I went back in to get one that was decently filled the young guy charged me 50 cents.
