Lotus Garden Express — Restaurant in Township of Langley

The food generally looks good here, and it seemed like a number of people were sitting around enjoying their dishes. But that was not my own experience. I came in for lunch today (I work nearby) and I ordered the Singapore stir fry to go. It was ready in 10 minutes. I took it back to start eating in my car. It was only a little warm, like it has been partially microwave. Within a few bites I tasted mold. I thought it was just me, took another bite, yup definitely mold. Not sure what it was on, maybe bean sprouts or peppers or onions. I turned around and talked to staff. The cook vehemently denied it, said that I was tasting an unfamiliar spice. She wouldn't take it back, and no refund. So I left it there. Very disappointing. I'm sure it was just an accident, I get it. If she was willing to offer me some decent customer service, I would come back...

THE CHINESE FOOD IS VERY BLAND NO TASTE - how can stay in business serving this plain rice with taste and hard sweet and sour that had zero taste - how could you serve this . i can cook this 10 x better than your restaurant - ordered a c rice and sweet and sour and noodles . fried rice was bland just out of rice cooker mixed in bby fat no taste and bland was and sweet and sour pork was bad and hard pieces of pork was sad throw up tasting it //// check low reviews MANY /not just me i noticed THIS IS PLACE I GAVE THREE TIMES ORDERING HAS NOT GOTTEN BETTER .,DON" T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE SORRY TO SAY -( Iam done ordering from this LOcation EVER Lotus is the worst...

Lunch Special Combo B ($10.75) B.B.Q. Pork Fried Rice Chicken Chow Mein Sweet & Sour Pork

The portions were amazing for the price. Everything was perfectly done. The sweet and sour had a light batter but super crispy. The fried rice and chow mein had a lot of flavor and texture. They were so generous with their portions. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. You will need to order and pay at the counter. They will bring the food to your table. Seating is limited. You can always go for takeout too. It's a mix of a Vietnamese and Chinese menu operated by a small family. Please support them if you're in the area. It's good for cheap eats....
