Just heard about this new restaurant in Walnut Grove, Langley and my wife and I gave it a try. Upon entry we noted that the restaurant was super clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Canadiano (americano with a fun twist on the name) coffee was very good
I ordered the Sunken Chorizo Benny. This dish was eggs in a platter of red pepper sauce with some cut up chorizo sausage, cut bell peppers, black beans and corn. It also came with garlic and herb potatoes. The portion was just right although I feel it could have used a side option of toast/bread to help with all of the sauce.
My wife had the Bistro Chicken Sandwich which came with a side of herb and garlic potato wedges. This sandwich was very good.
Overall, I liked this place and will come here again. The menu is not huge, but the place is super clean, the staff were awesome, and the food was good.
Update: today we went back and had the granny eggs and French toast. Both were delicious and the perfect serving size. I loved the bacon and the signature potatoes are awesome. This place is now on the regular breakfast rotation.
Update: third weekend in a row and we find ourselves back here. Today we had the sausage omelet and the pancakes. Both were delicious. I cannot say enough about the peppercorn bacon, it...

Anyways, the food really has some flavor! I ordered the Desi Nashta (consisting of an spicy veggie omelet with green chilies-it was a bit spicy but still tasty!) and spiced hashbrowns were on the side. It was flavorful, but more on the oily side for my liking. I also ordered the pancakes and the portion was quite big, though a little dry. Also, the toppings cost 2.50 extra. I asked about the vanilla cream and was told it's just whip cream... so I'd skip that next time. As for the atmosphere, the place was very bright and clean and the layout is interesting. The garage (larger door) is open during the day, so you can sit on the patio, but it does get quite cold because they do not shut it for the people inside. Overall, service was okay. There is only one main server serving everyone and sometimes the chefs would come out and bring the food to you, if it gets a bit busy. Overall, the Desi Nashta really stood out, but the rest was like...

I was on the verge of âhangerâ late afternoon so I googled nearby coffee shops looking for a snack.
Lord did I ever get more than I asked for! Todayâs special was a smokey chorizo linguini (see pic).
I used to run restaurants for 10 years (GM, Chef etc) and this dish could easily be served at some of the top restaurants in VanCity, let alone this random bistro in Walnut Grove! The chef took the care to caramelize each individual grape tomatoe to fully bring out their flavour⊠itâs the little things ppl. đ
The cashier/server was super inviting & hospitable upon entry, and after my meal I happened to be sitting close to chef Joshua Rhodes while they did some computer work. He warmly checked on how I enjoyed the food & gave me a business card. I guess they do catering too?
He told me they just started doing a dinner service. Time to get the word out this place is legit!
I whole heartedly recommend this spot đŻ
Now I have to come back earlier in the day & try the...
