It was our first time coming to this restaurant last night. We had made reservations for 7:30 p.m. for our belated Valentine's dinner. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a friendly hostess. Our table was ready right away as we could see the reserved sign already placed on the table. The vibe and atmosphere was very friendly, rustic and inviting. The restaurant was decorated very well and appeared to be very clean. The service from beginning to end was fantastic as the server would check in often and food came out at appropriate times. I ordered the Virgin Caesar, which tasted amazing, so cheers to the bartender. I am vegetarian and my wife is vegan. We had no issues with picking items on the menu as they were very accommodating. For the appetizers we had Mushroom Manchurian which tasted amazing, and surprisingly reminded me of chicken. We also had Golgappe shots, which were very crispy and the water and filling tasted awesome. We also had papadam which were delicious. For the dinner we had Shahi paneer for me and for my wife she had the chef's special deal. We also had their bread basket to accompany the dishes. The main courses we're phenomenal you can taste the quality ingredients and the flavors for all the dishes were very well balanced. You can tell the chef knows what they are doing and cares about the food coming out of the kitchen. For dessert I had the rasmalai cheesecake. This is my only critique for the whole evening was that the rasmalai cheesecake could have used more of the cream to cover the cheesecake because it just tasted like a plain cheesecake with one rasmalai on top. However the presentation of it was very beautiful. Overall, this was a five out of five star experience for us, and we will for sure be coming back as this will be our new go to...

We had called 3 days in advance for the requirement of food with dietary restrictions. We were told a couple of dishes can be made. On the day, it was a delayed service, and the food came was mixed veg (not good quality and taste for the price paid). Apparently, they used frozen veggies in a basic gravy. We were told that the owner came early to cook. Very nice of her. But sorry to say it wasn't at all a decent mixed veg. There was dal, which was a bit salty. The server was nice but was showing some signs of impatience. The other server apologized for the inconvenience. This is the 2nd time we had a very sad experience. Hope we don't have to face it again.
Updated response based on the reply received- There are surely better restaurants who are North Indian and serve Jain (no Onion no garlic no potato) food upon request (typically 24 hours in advance) or walk in (Satya Asha, Tasty Indian Bistro, Yellow Chilli, ShowShaa, Saffron Indian cuisine to name a few) out there, also most of these are primarily- North Indian restaurants and do have North Indian chefs (no offense to your chefs) and hopefully Masala Boyz can improvise. Some restaurants do deny offering Jain food as well. But saying yes for a paneer mixed veg Initially confirmed and serving Frozen veggies (calling it Paneer sabji with no paneer added until requested to remake ) is not cool.
Also, I was made to wait almost 50mins despite informing the server to bring the items as soon as they're ready. I appreciate the efforts but feel disappointed at the standards of the...
Read moreWe were very disappointed in this place. First off the staff is very nice but the layout of this place was not very welcoming and actually awkward and uncomfortable. Definitely not a lounge and bar setting where you want to take your jacket off and stay a while. We were recommended this place by a friend because of the halal menu. We googled the place before we came and the website was definitely over hyped on how this place really is. We dressed up thinking this would be more of a fancy Indian lounge and when we walked in it felt like anything but that. We decided to stay and see how the food was. When we ordered drinks to start and some shooters they made a simple peach Bellini taste nasty and their superman shots were also disgusting. We continued to stay to see how the food was and even the food lacked flavour and the quality. The quantity was also very small and not worth the money. We could have gotten better tasting food at our local Indian sweet shop. Again, the staff were very nice and pleasant but we definitely won't be returning again which is unfortunate due too the lack of halal resturaunts in our community. We were nice and tried to not give them a hard time due to the fact there was already a lady screaming at front because they were suppose to have a table ready and didn't which is the same thing that happend to us when we walked in. If we could give some constructive criticism it would be to change the lay out and make it more of a lounge and bar setting as advertised and up their game on flavour for...
