Read moreI am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the experience I recently had at your Tim Hortons branch on July 6, 2024. The service I encountered during my visit fell well below the expected standards of customer care.
During our visit, a distressing incident occurred involving a group of children who were with us, innocently enjoying Timbits and Hot Chocolate. Shockingly, one of your employees decided to berate these children loudly and aggressively for simply laughing and talking. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also entirely uncalled for in a family-friendly establishment. Kids got scared and ran out of the store.
When we, as parents, attempted to address this unacceptable behavior with the employee, instead of offering a sincere apology, we were met with further disrespect and argumentation. It was only after an extended period that another staff member/store manager intervened and provided an apology, but the damage to our experience had already been done.
This incident left us deeply disheartened and disturbed. Coffee shops like Tim Hortons are meant to be welcoming havens where families can enjoy their time together. The conduct of your employee was completely contrary to this ethos and has left a lasting negative impression.
As a result of this regrettable incident, I am reluctant to revisit this particular branch and will seriously reconsider patronizing Tim Hortons altogether. I firmly believe that where my children are not treated with basic respect, I cannot support with my patronage. Furthermore, I intend to share this disappointing experience with my friends and family to caution them about potential similar encounters.
I urge Tim Hortons' management to take this matter seriously and ensure that all employees are trained extensively in customer service and appropriate behavior. A satisfactory resolution to this complaint should include a formal apology and a thorough review of your staff's conduct to prevent such distressing incidents in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I eagerly await your swift response and actions to rectify this...
Read moreSome of our friends and their families (around 24 adults and kids) were spending a day at the Ferris Provincial Park. As part of our tradition, we have stopped at the Timmies to recharge ourself before heading to the city. But we had a worst customer experience at this Tim’s branch located on 148 Grand Road, Cambellford ON K0L 1L0, on July 6th around 8-9pm. Our kids were enjoying their pastries and beverages while talking and laughing with their friends. One of the employee (Emelia, we have got the name from the manager Brenda after) out of nowhere started yelling to the kids for being loud without giving any warning to the parents or asking anyone to keep the volume low. Kids were so scared that they ran out of the store. Employees at the store even started to argue with the parents about the fact instead of being sorry, when parents asked them why would they yell instead of coming to the parents. This is a coffe shop not a library, this is a coffee shop, and it is perfectly okay to talk, laugh and socialize. Any establishment would be happy to see 24 customers walking into any social place like coffee shop and bringing in business along with laugher and joy. Where kids are welcome, all the employees should be trained on how behave with the kids. Tim Horton bears the symbol of Canadian pride, but the behavior we have received that was not acceptable. Today my kid was scared to walk into another Timmies in Toronto location, because of what happened yesterday and that is just sad. I usually don’t write review/complain but that situatuion could have been easily avoided. I don’t want any other families or kids experice that ever again from any Tim Horton location. I am writing to understnd what invetigation or action Tim Horton will take to remediate this from happening...
