A&W Canada — Restaurant in Trois-Rivières

A&W used to be on a mall near me in Maryland, so when I saw that it still existed in Trois-Rivieres, I wanted stop for the nostalgia. And I was quite happy that I can still get my A&W in a frozen mug! And it still tastes as great as it did back when I was a kid! What I was not prepared for were the burgers. This was no longer McDonald's quality like when I was growing up. These were thick and juicy burgers. I don't know if they use fresh beef or frozen beef, as I couldn't read the French menu, but I knew that the burgers were quite good and juicy. They also had a lot of topping choices. My wife and I were both very happy. The kids ordered chicken tenders, which were also nice and juicy. We all ordered fries, which came out crisp and hot. The kids got water, which also came in the frozen mugs! I and they appreciated that! The staff was also great here. The main cashier's English was only slightly better than my French, and the managers immediately heard us struggling and came over to assist. She both assisted us in ordering and the cashier in learning how to serve English customers while still being fast. Although we didn't order kids meals, they threw in the kids meals goodies for the kids. Over all we got great food, in a nice clean restaurant. The food came out quickly and the service was better than we could have asked for! Le pire a&w que je suis allé.... le service est déplorable. Obligé de réclamer car burger et Frites froide. Nous y avons fait plusieurs commande car chacun mangeait un plat d'un restaurant différent. On nous fait payer chaque items à la place de nous faire payer un combo et obliger de menacer de porter plainte à l'office de protection des consommateurs pour se faire rembourser la différence. Oui ce n'est que 2 dollars mais cette somme multipliée par le nombre de clients qui ne font pas attention cela donne une belle somme à la fin de la journée. Personnel arrogant et qui ne veut pas reconnaître...

Ca fait plusieurs fois que je vais a ce restaurant, et a chaque fois, jai un très mauvais service! Les cups de mayo chipotler a peine a la moitié, mon fromage dans mon hamburger était sèche, salade vraiment molle, très décevant! La caissière a toujours l’air de mauvaise humeur, ne dit pas bonjour, bonne journée, rien! Elle prend ta commande et n’as aucune courtoisie (même caissière chaque fois) C’est plate car j’adore a&w , et quand je vais au centre les rivières j’aime bien faire mes commissions et arrêter au restaurant en même temps, mais je vais y...
