I loved this restaurant! We travelled the entire province and this was the best meal of our trip, so much so that we ate there two nights in a row. The menu is small which we prefer as it usually means everything is fresh and the dishes are done very well - and that was the case here. We had the lobster roll and Caesar salad which was hands down the best lobster roll of our trip. Good portion with lots of lobster served on a fresh croissant. It was delicious! We also had the lobster bisque which was excellent and served with fresh bits of lobster in it. We also tried the herb butter and cheese lobster which was also just to die for. It was served with fresh bread to dip in the remaining butter - yum! Service was really good, Anne and her staff were super attentive and she was just so lovely. I highly recommend eating here. If you enjoy fresh seafood actually cooked well and presented nicely, this is the spot! Also this was the first restaurant we’d eaten at in our entire east coast travels that had table cloths on the table and the cutlery laid out correctly. Great job Anne, thanks for two...
Read moreI was at Pier39 two days ago. I ordered Lobster Role and Baked Garlic Shrimp in Herb Garlic Butter (menu is handwritten on paper) The Lobster Role is really good.
However, instead of the Baked Garlic Shrimp in Herb Garlic Butter I received Baked Shrimp in 3 Cheese. Some of the Shrimp were still cold on the plate and some cheese further below was not melted while the cheese on the top overall was melted. Seems Shrimp were put from fridge on the plate, covered with cheese and put into the oven with high heat. The cheese has taken away the original flavor of the delicate shrimp meat.
Finally for that I was neither billed for Baked Garlic Shrimp in Herb Garlic Butter nor Baked Shrimp in 3 Cheese (which was not on the menu at all btw) but for Bisque. Lobster Role was billed correctly.
Ambiance for me was generally a bit cold and dark and handwritten menu on paper not...
Read moreSo longshore man short was on a family vacation looked up this place beforehand and wasn't expecting the family to choose this place based on the limited menu however I was wrong what they do they do well, occasionally they will do special meals off the menu. Anyway if you wanted a true east coast kitchen experience then this is the place where you want to go or make a reservation to during the high tourist season. The owner and staff wanted the experience to be the best experience you could have . The home made bread and croissants were something to write home about. This is literally like sitting at the dinner table and home cooked meals prepared in the dinning room.
5 stars all the...
