Little Flower Company Cake Design Atelier — Restaurant in Vancouver

I have been ordering custom cakes with Gloria and her husband for a few years now. They have been nothing short of breathtaking visually. Taste- wise has been excellent. Flavour is very balanced and not too sweet! The specialty pandan cake is a must and is my favourite - so much depth in flavour. Strawberry short cake and crunch cake are also their best sellers and also very light and airy. The quality of fresh ingredients is top notch and it shows in their artistry of the finished product. I also did a cake class under their instruction for my mom’s birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed it ! Their kitchen is spotless and well organized. Pricing is very reasonable for the amount of care that goes into a custom cake- and you can put in add ons such as the little sugar figure of my dog below, buttercream flowers etc. I would absolutely recommend Little Flower Company to anyone interested in custom cake ordering for a special event or gathering. Sweet little place. The cashier girl was very nice and answered all our questions, gave us recommendations and everything. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet, there were two other customers other than us, the space was very clean as well. I got the matcha lava and madagascar vanilla and rum, along with a match cake roll I have yet to try. The matcha lava canele was delicious, the matcha filling was rich and not too sweet. Unfortunately the original flavor one was a bit disappointing. The outer on both canele were nice and crisp but the inside of the original flavor was soggy/borderline runny(felt underbaked) which I was kind of bummed about. I ordered a Crescent style gradient color flower cake. This was a very special occasion, and I requested two color tones I expected to pay extra for the modification, but they very kindly accepted my request with no extra charge! I ordered the strawberry shortcake filling, and could not wait to pick it up! When I went in, it was very clean and inviting and got helped right away! They also had cute different specialty candles to choose from and I got the daisy ones. The cake was SOOO moist and perfect that the candles sank in!!!! BEST CAKE...
