Worst service !!! Poor food handling! A typical Filipinong ugali very rude! What a shame!!! Attention to the owner of this location #29719 South Marine Drive
I had a bad experience last night around 11pm with this manager (Filipino fat guy ).
I order 6 chicken burger for $39.28 on drive through for my niece and nephew that were hungry from their long flight from Philippines .At first I was bragging my niece and nephew that here in Canada people are very nice and respectful.
The cashier ( a young caucasian guy) took my order and I pay with my visa card. Then he said that their machine is having a problem and it doesn’t show that my payment went through so i tap again my card. Same problem it didn’t show on their computer that my payment went through for the second time. So he asked me to check my online banking if there was a charged. When I checked it there was two charges first $6.28 and $39.28. I showed to the staff (caucasian guy ) there i have 2 charges on my card . The $6.28 was not my order and it might be from the guy ahead of me and the $39.28 which was my order. He refunded me for that$6.28. That’s the time that the fat filipino guy / manager took and he told me to pay again for the second time for the $39.28. I told him and showed him on my phone that the payment went through on my visa but he still insisted. He told me that he can give me a refund if there will be double charge on my visa after 2-3 business days. I asked him how i can get my refund if incase there is a double charge. He says , you need to come back to get your refund but I told him that I live in Burnaby and I am working 7 days a week /16 hours a day. I can’t take a day off at my work just to get back that $39.28 . I asked him if he can e transfer me . To make the story short .. one staff was going to give me my order this filipino fat guy told the other staff filipina not to give me my order . He was so rude.
First , it was not my problem that your machine and computer were having a problem. Second, I have a proof that the payment went through yo my visa card and lastly YOU as a manager you don’t know how to handle this kind of situation. Management should know and retrain you. No such courtesy for the costumers. What a typical UGALING Pinoy!!!! I have your picture . I wish I can upload your picture here but I don’t know how.

Please don't use you McDonald app to order if you will not go physically in restaurant and let your friend pick up the order for you.McDonald app didn't emphasize that when you are not able to pick up your order using your own mobile app they will not go through with your order physically until you go to restaurant with the original mobile you use (even our friend provided a photo that has been confirmed and order number is on their screen they will not make your order). It is waste of time to sent our friend and look so lost because order was not process and this McDonald restaurant claimed they didn't get the order. While when we checked on the mobile up it was confirmed and already been charge to whatever method of payment we use. I call this restaurant and spoke to owner named Giovanni and the only word he can offer is to call our financial institutions to refund our money. In short our friend wasted gas to try to pick our order, ending all of us in the office didn't get our lunch because of the McDonald app failed to process our food. I don't recommend using McDonald app, especially in this restaurant located at 830 SW marine Dr Vancouver, even the owner of this restaurant didn't have a better solution for his customer to be happy. Read moreThe late night crew has serious issues with lack of training, morale, and teamwork. Twice now I've had to wait over 10 minutes for my order while multiple orders that came after mine were already served. The first instance the employee at the counter put the wrong order up and called another order number, then tried to blame me for not picking it up. It was obviously not what I ordered and mine was sitting at the dispenser from the kitchen waiting to be picked. No apologies from him. To the owner's credit he got back to me and made up for the poor service. More recently after waiting 16 minutes they couldn't give me an update on where my order was. The counter employee seemed new, but the other 2 are not. Instead of helping their coworker, they stood nearby and were joking around and laughing. They were close enough to hear my conversation with the newer employee. On another occasion I've witnessed one of them cop an attitude to the shift manager when asked to clean up. He said "No. I'm tired! I've been working all night!" Then stormed out of the restaurant. It wasn't even half way through the night. I can't understand why he's still employed there.
