2 Guys With Knives — Restaurant in Vancouver

So I've been using these guys for about 2.5 months. These are just some of my observations. Overall the meals, since they are full meals and not just meal prep, have been worth the cost for taste and convenience. I started with the full entrees and then branched into the specialty stuff. Both were good. The entrees were more filling (sometimes too much food) and keto/paleo/vegan stuff seemed a bit smaller. Getting some of each gives you choice depending on how hungry you are. Although they don't say you can, some of the meals are freezable so I tend to order enough for two weeks instead of one. So long as it is not a salad or contains a potato based ingredient, it does well with freezing. If you get the steak meal, take the steak out and microwave separately for a shorter period of time (less than a minute) if you like it medium. Out of all the meals I've ordered, only one was bad. It was really salty, but I suspect it might have been a batch that wasn't stirred properly during cooking. Stuff like that happens even with my favorite restaurants so I wasn't worried about it. For entree meals, they let you customize so you can order the same thing twice and change it so it is different enough that it doesn't feel like you are eating the same meal over again. The delivery guys/gals have been great. I live in an apartment and they bring the package up to my apartment door instead of just leaving the order in the lobby like some other places do. My only criticism is I wish they rotated their salads a bit more because, well . . . it's salad. They're good but it's . . . salad! I think I need more variety to induce me to...

After trying to cook more often & eat healthier by trying multiple different meal delivery service providers - I signed up for 2 guys with knives. Due to my busy schedule, I was finding it tough to find my groove & when I saw post from a friend recommending them on social media i decided to try them out in hopes it may help alleviate some of the chaos in my life. What I never expected was to be completely blown away by the delicious meals (at the same cost or better) than other providers without all of the worry & work. This was exactly the type of service we needed to enable us to continue to work hard & not stress about the inevitable question ‘what’s for dinner’ or lunch while trying to be healthy & prepare for our wedding! I feel so grateful to have found 2 guys with knives & my picky-husband-to-be (with expensive wagyu beef tastes) absolutely loves each meal. Recently, I got worried about the headlines (and if I should be stockpiling groceries) so I was planning to proactively reach out via email to ask if the meal service would continue & I didn’t even need to because they were already one step ahead giving reassurance that it would be ok & reassuring us of all the precautionary measures they had implemented. I am beyond impressed with the meals, the customization options for every meal, the variety & the value. This is my second week of ordering prepped meals and just received them now. The first week meals - love all of them and they’re all my faves. But one that really stood out for me was the Keto mob squad I think…First bite especially the chickens are so tasty and super delicious that I had to eat the veggies first and ate the chicken last😁. I even introduced 2GWK to my sister…because…she wants to take my steaks😅and I said no but I gave her one of the other meals (but first I have to taste it also) 🤣😝 then I tell her if she wants a healthy prepped meals try it from 2GWK.

For this weeks meal, I made a request for one the meals that if possible to substitute the rice to vegetables instead…taking a no rice challenge for a week. And I appreciate 2GWK for granting such request. Will definitely order again. These prepped meals are helping me maintain my current weight (I’m currently trying to lose weights). Such a big help for me and saves me time to prep/going grocery shopping. The prices I believe are reasonable and somehow affordable.

I wish they could also update their website by adding additional instruction box from their menus.
