We dined at Radish on a Saturday evening with 4 of us. Parking was hard so I recommend carpooling or takkng an uber. We were greeted right away with smiles and was led to our table, no wait. My first impression of the restaurant was how relaxing and cozy it felt with the dim lighting and twinkling christmas lights. Also love the design of the logo! We wanted to try everything on the menu but ultimately decided on the radish salad, burrata cheese, zucchini dip, porschetta, short rib pasta, pasta alla vodka, Soppressata pizza, olive oil cake and raspberry sorbetto for dessert. Comments about some of the dishes: The radish salad may sound unexciting to most, but it was one of favourites of the night. There was lovely texture with the radish, tomatoes, avocado and egg, with a dressing that added great acidity to the dish, and the right amount of saltiness. The porschetta was everyone else's top dish. Super moist, fatty, flavourful and with the best crispy skin! The burrata cheese was a perfect round dome and when sliced into, was the perfect oozing cheese to use for the accompanying bread. There were thin pieces of citrus around the cheese which balanced the flavors. The two pastas were okay - nothing special. The meat on the short rib pasta was a bit dry and dull and the sauce was not very flavourful. He pasta itself was a bit dry as well. We all wished there was more sauce. This was my least favorite and I expected more. Service Everyone was so nice and friendly. They have the best smiles! Our water glasses were constantly full and they cleared the empty dishes quickly. They also have a great sense of humor :) I would absolutely come back to try the rest of the menu for lunch and for dinner. The experience was so positive and I haven't stopped raving to friends about it!

I don’t write a review for every restaurant – generally just the really good and the really uninspiring culinary experiences motivate me to write. This, happily, was the former. In fact, the photo of the half-eaten meal speaks to our unexpectedly delicious lunch. Had we known how good it would be at the start, you’d have been treated to a proper photo of an intact sandwich and mini-loaf. We had the roast beef sandwich and paired it with a tempting looking cheese and onion mini-loaf. The combination was absolutely delectable. There’s nothing gimmicky or surprising going on here – it’s simply a really good sandwich with well-trimmed and tender roast beef, a delicious bun, flavourful aioli, and nothing to disappoint. Taking alternating bites of the cheese and onion loaf was an absolute treat, and if they have one of those aromatic little loaves available when you order, don’t hesitate to pair them as we did. If the rest of their food is this good, I’d recommend you definitely check out Radish to sate a hungry tummy. We'll certainly be back to further explore their menu.

Tried Radish for the first time after a long weekend hike and showed up very ready to eat. Loved the location and the tight, well-curated menu—always a good sign. They nailed the oat-milk cortado (harder to find than you’d think), and the meatball sandwich was phenomenal. The bread was incredibly tasty and the flavour of the meatballs and sauce really hit the mark. That said, the portion was on the smaller side for the price, so if you’re looking for big value, this might not be your spot. Service-wise, the server was great—friendly, attentive, and added a nice energy to the experience. The host interaction, however, was a bit dry. Nothing terrible, just lacking that warm hospitality you’d hope for when you first walk in. Honestly, that seems to be a recurring theme at a lot of places in Vancouver. My friend had one of the salads with tuna (can’t remember the name), but it was also excellent. I’d definitely go back. And if you’re less particular than I am about first impressions or portion sizes, this might even be a five-star spot for you.

This is my favorite neighborhood spot for coffee, brunch, and now dinner (they just added a dinner service!). The staff are exceptional and the ambience is inviting cozy. The food and drinks are truly delish! Top Recommendations: The pizza is phenomenal - the crust!!! The pepperoni pizza is truly special. If you're lucky enough to catch their breakfast focaccia (read: breakfast pizza), don't miss it! Also, ask for the house-made hot sauce! Their sandwiches are equally delicious. The standout here is undoubtedly the bun. Their in-house focaccia is fluffy, soft, and has a satisfyingly crispy exterior. The roast beef is fantastic and the specials are usually excellent. I've had BLTs and a prosciutto sandwich specials, both of which were exceptional. The coffees are excellent, and they also offer some great alternatives. I really love the hot ginger tea, although it’s quite strong. I usually add a bit of hot water to dilute it. Their peach Italian soda is fantastic, and I often dilute it with soda water. I recently tried the peace ? iced tea (non-alcoholic cocktail) on their dinner menu, and it was delicious. For dinner - short rib pasta and olive oil cake for dessert - chefs kiss!!!

Kid friendly, although tends to be a bit more of an adult spot. The layout of the restaurant has 3 different interior eating areas and it seems like they are quite conscience in where they see people.

They also have a dog-friendly patio, which makes this a really unique spot in Kitsilano where you can sit down to have breakfast /coffee in a heated, covered patio...

Should have been 1 star, but left extra star because the food was actually pretty good. We had Turkish eggs, they were pretty good, my wife had a salad, that was good also, and the kids had pizza - also no complains, good crust, not too greasy. What killed the whole experience, was manager's attitude. Our 1 year old baby was dining with us, and he was a bit loud, then manager comes to our table saying: other customers are complaining about the noise. There were other two tables nearby and it doesn't seem they were too bothered by it, I guess most of people know that you can't really control 1 year old screaming, you do your best but there's only so much you can do, because at that age babies don't really understand much... So, when manager basically told us to control our baby, I told him: it's baby you know, not much I can do. His response was: yeah.. I know, we have a lot of babies here. First of all, no you don't, because your restaurant doesn't even have a high chair, and second of all, what kind of response is that!!. What an ignoramus that guy is. Definitely won't be back there, and other families with little kids,...
