Simply Delicious Restaurant & Bar is an absolute gem that left me glowing with joy after my visit. The moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a world that reminded me of the vibrant atmosphere depicted in the movie Coyote Ugly. The energetic ambiance and the presence of the attentive and empathetic servers truly made me feel like I was among Simply Delicious Angels, who could effortlessly grace the cover of any fashion magazine.

From the very beginning, my experience at Simply Delicious exceeded my expectations. I decided to start with their oysters, and oh boy, they were a true delight! Fresh, succulent, and bursting with flavor, each bite was a reminder of the exceptional quality of their seafood. Accompanying the oysters was a generous portion of edamame, which was not only delicious but also served in a quantity that left me feeling satisfied.

As a fan of classic cocktails, I couldn't resist ordering an Old Fashioned. To my surprise, despite the bartenders mentioning it was their first time making it, the drink was nothing short of perfection. The balance of flavors, the careful attention to detail, and the impeccable execution were indicative of the exceptional skill and talent present in the bar staff.

However, it was not just the outstanding food and drinks that impressed me at Simply Delicious; it was the extraordinary service that truly stole the show. When I arrived, I was feeling down after a challenging day, having lost my job. Yet, the staff, especially two individuals named Yeeun and Julie, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine empathy turned my mood around completely.

By the end of my visit to Simply Delicious, I left with a renewed sense of happiness. What started as a simple need for a drink turned into an experience that exceeded all my expectations. The exceptional quality of the food, the flawless execution of the drinks, and the remarkable service from the staff created a perfect storm of satisfaction and contentment.

What a joke. Worst experience ever!! Enough to change my mood. No, thanks we are not coming back. We got seated and handed the drink menu, which is fine. Never did get a food menu. Ok, well waited for the server. She never came back. Mind you the place wasn't busy but close to being empty. So, I got up went to the bar asking for the menu. Some other server told me that I should check it online and pick off that. Then our server interrupted by saying, oh sorry I should have told you that. All we wanted was oysters. Yet, they couldn't provide me with that simple information. Anyways, got to my table, checked the menu online. Server took our order. We added more side dishes. We even order a simple Pepsi/coke in which it came comically in a small glass filled half way. We laugh at that. So, we waited for our food for half an hour. Server, came to our table she says we don't have oyster today I just found out. What?! There are pictures all around the place and she didn't know. It's not like they ran out today. Apparently, they didn't have it yesterday either. Ok, wasted our time here. We came here just for the oysters. That information would have been helpful like an hour ago. We cancelled all of our orders and going to pay for our kid size Pepsi/coke. Ask for our bill. So, we can quickly head off some where else for the oysters. A few minutes later she comes back with our side order. REALLY?!?! I wanted to leave. But, ended up havijg the side order that we didn't care for and left. Sorry, this rant was about the service experience. Now, food wasn't great and over priced. Parking $4 an hour, 24 hours a day and 7...

Discovered this place just over a year ago. Since then it has become one of my favourite spots in Vancouver.

Feel like wings? pho? banh mi? Simply Delicious has it. Feel like fresh oysters, sushi and dessert? Simply Delicious has it. Feel like cold beer and shots? Simply Delicious has it.

Happy hour is fantastic value. It gets busy at times and during happy hour you may have to wait a couple minutes longer for your icy mug of $4 Sapporo. Yes, $4 beer served in a cold mug during happy hour. More than worth an extra minute or two wait.

The staff is extremely friendly. They will greet you with a hello and a smile. Most have taken the time to introduce themselves and ask my name which immediately builds a rapport. Silvia and her team are excellent!

The food is high quality and delicious. My favourites are the wings, especially the red devil, salmon and oshi press, and the spicy dumplings.

My only regret is that I only discovered SD in May of 2023. To think I went all these years not getting the Simply Delicious experience.
