Once again you have edited your comment and erased what was making you look worse (now it even looks like you have some manners!). Why would I follow your "order" (as it was written before) of going to your restaurant and talking to your manager, if you are still incapable of understanding written language? Why would I follow your "order" of no written emails? But I did talk to your personnel as I describe in the text, in person, and you guys were not interested. Why are you interested in talking person to person now, and to ask for it with such low manners?
Hi, thank you for replying once again with lies, zero accountability and showing how little you care about your clients, and the neighbourhood! :D
I hope you stay uncapable of improving quality, service, flavor or attitude!
How desperate can you get? What if you actually provided good service and took the bad reviews at heart instead of trying to bury them?
What if you actually cared for your customers instead of putting your loud music that is driving families away and bothering nearby businesses? You could have music but not so loud
The icing on the cake: I imagine you've been paying to get better reviews, or bothering your few customers to do it for a discount, havent you? But reality speaks, your restaurante barely ever has people ... Also the fact that most of your "good reviews" have literally the One good review from the user is not suspicious at all, no
I wasnt going to explain in detail but since they like to argue in the comments, and I do too, lets do it: Yes, they say your indications are fine then don't apply them to the dishes (no cheese, no cream / then they add it anyway, and its always your fault or the apps, not theirs). They don't have all the ingredients for the dishes (funnily enough the grocery store is just 2 minutes away but I guess they can't go get a single tomato or a single onion). They make you change up to 3 times and can't offer any solution. Saying everything with a smile doesn't make it good, just makes them cynical.
Since you were gracious enough to respond further in the comment, I will continue: You didnt your best to follow instructions, you just found ways to not follow them. If you plan your inventory according to your "service", and you run out of ingredients at 11 am, your plan is obviously wrong; an "internal" decision to buy ingredients or not at 11 am its what you perceive as a nice way of saying that you don't actually care if you can offer your own dishes, if you have so much difficulty to offer dishes at 11 am maybe offer even less of what you have in your own menus (maybe you will say that you were forced to include certain plates in the menu, and its not your responsibility either). I called you chilangos in the "bad" way, there is a good positive way to call someone a chilango, but in your case, of course it was meant in the negavite way; like it or not there is something positive and negative to be norteño, sureño, etc. You don't want to see it as an insult, but you don't want to understand why you were called that way either, because you are too perfect and nothing is your fault in your own restaurant. Since you didn't wanted a review to reflect assumptions (though mine wasnt) Im happy to provide a "fuller picture". If you choose to edit further your answer, I will keep reflecting the fuller picture in here. Sadly, I've been naive enough to go to your restaurant in 3 separate occasions, and I have more to say of the other 2 times when I had the disappointment of having to deal with you. There had been issues every time I went to your restaurant, and you were NOT happy to resolve ANYTHING at the moment. Aren't you "assuming" and not providing the full picture, when you say that you did everything to solve any issue, therefore proving once again, that you are always right and the customer is always...
Read moreEDIT: in response of the restaurant’s reply that showed zero accountability. I know how and what a milanesa should look and taste like. Being Mexican myself so thanks for the lecture. The milanesa you prepared is absolutely NOT how Mexican milanesa looks like. The schnitzel reference was to provide other people with some context. I do know it’s a German dish. Your “milanesa” is clumpy and thick and eating it right away has NOTHING to do with the bad quality and poor preparation of your dish. Secondly you take zero accountability for the deplorable conditions of the bathroom. I provided you with photos. How about you take ownership of the lack of cleanliness for a change? and no, I won’t be returning to your restaurant and will not recommend it to anyone. Also respond to reviewers independently, trying to assume and clump together a response to two different customers seems lazy.
Original review: It was a disappointing experience. I will start by saying that the customer service was good, the staff were very friendly and pleasant. The horchata water was delicious.
However, I have 2 main problems with this place. This establishment is filthy!! The bathroom needs a deep clean (see pictures attached) the floors and wall were splashed with a dark brown liquid. If they think having the bathroom in that state, open to the public as something acceptable; I can’t imagine what their kitchen looks like behind doors. Secondly, I bought the milanesa torta (sandwich) and it was beyond disappointing. Milanesa is supposed to be THIN and crispy! The torta (sandwich) had large rubbery strips/chunks of meat that weren’t seasoned and didn’t have the texture or a crispy super thin milanesa (think schnitzel). I didn’t try the traditional Mexican pastries that to be fair looked really good. Needless to say, I will not be returning and I definitely think that place is a health risk and they don’t even...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have been loyal customers to this business for about a year and this last experience ruined our perception of the company. We ordered through DoorDash for some coffee, horchata, enchiladas and a torta godin. After they’d confirmed the order and had been preparing it for some time we get a notification saying that the Torta Godin is out of stock and they’ve changed it with the merchants recommendation which was a torta de Milanesa. First of all, that’s fine if you’re out but I didn’t even get to approve the selection or change made, it was forced, on top of a price difference which we don’t get refunded on. I wanted to change my order to something else within the price and so we tried calling the restaurant. I kid you not we called 10 times and were sent to voicemail each time. They had enough time to change my order on DoorDash but couldn’t answer the phone. We complained on the app and said unfortunately they couldn’t do anything and advised us to complain once the food arrived. Took over an hour for the food (this could be DoorDashes fault so I can’t put it on the restaurant) but of course the food was cold the coffee was cold and I thought I’d give a try to the torta they sent me and oh my god… disgusting!! They gave me all the fatty pieces of meat, they put two pieces of avocado and threw some beans on and that’s it… super disappointing. Thankfully, DoorDash refunded us for the sandwich and advised us that the restaurant should’ve not changed the order without confirming with the customer and receiving consent to do so!!! This whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. If you go here, grab a coffee and a pastry but don’t bother with...
