Staff is nice, and they have the best poutine in Vaudreuil we have found so far. The deluxe is especially delicious. --- Edit : Had to bump it down from 5 to 4 stars (3 would be too harsh). Don't get me wrong, I still think their poutine is the best when they get it right. However, there have been a few times they get a few important details wrong on the order. -The error recurring most often is the poutine sauce not being on the side (I have to drive a bit, so I usually ask for it on the side so the fries are not excessively soggy when I get home). (See image) -Last time I ordered, onions were missing from my "all-dressed" deluxe poutine (See image).

It was a cool diner atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating to us English only folks. The look of the diner was that of a late 80s early 90s like the diner in Saved By The Bell TV show. We had Montreal smoked meat sandwiches and poutine. It was really good! They have fresh cut fries which you can see them make and fry right from the counter. They cut the beef fresh from the smoked beef and it's juicy and fresh. The poutine was awesome. It seems that they use the drippings from the smoked meat to make the gravy. It was a very good experience.

La Belle Patate is a solid option for a casse croute. I ordered combo #2 which consisted of two steamed dogs and a small poutine and a beverage. It was all very good, quite similar to LBP. Total cost before a tip was about $16.50 Stopped in after learning that the nearby Frites à Brigitte does not accept credit cards. Was happy I did!

Delicious Comfort Food at La Belle Patate!

I had the pleasure of dining at La Belle Patate in Vaudreuil-Dorion, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home.

The star of the show is, of course, the poutine. I went for the classic version first, and let me tell you—it's easily one of the best I've ever had! The fries were perfectly crispy, topped generously with rich gravy and fresh cheese curds. Each bite was a heavenly combination of textures and flavors.

But that's not all! They offer a variety of unique poutine toppings that cater to all tastes; I couldn't resist trying the BBQ chicken poutine as well, which was absolutely delightful.

The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my experience was top-notch. I also appreciated the quick service, which is a big plus when you're hungry!

If you're in the area and craving some comfort food, La Belle Patate is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and try more from their...

i felt a little.... extravagant the day i came here. they were offering a peach drink, so i decided to try it. it tastes just like peach maynards, making it impossible for me to finish the entire cup because im weak willed and NOT god's strongest soldier

anyways, the lady at the counter asked "how was it", and i said it was "just alright", thinking she was referring to the drink i just threw out. little did i know she was talking about the meal itself (which was great by the way). i wake up at night thinking of the consequences of my actions, and it replays non-stop in my mind...
