They were not at all honest about order wait times, made me wait for over 2 hours and every time I asked about the status, kept lying to me that it would be ready in 15 mins. If they would have been honest about the wait times, I would not have had to waste 2 trips back and forth from home and wouldn’t have had to waste so much time waiting outside the restaurant. I had noticed that someone who had order number after mine got their order before me and when I pointed that out, they made lame excuses. Turned out they were prioritizing app-based orders, and for the people who they knew personally. I saw that in the kitchen, the person cooking the meal coughed onto the cooking pan in which the food was being prepared! They were blatantly talking with each other in disrespectful tone about the customers who were waiting outside, and even when they delivered my order, there was no sign of being sorry for such long wait, and instead, they were talking in an even more disrespectful tone. It drove me crazy! Never going there again! It’s all about honesty and being truthful. I wouldn’t have minded a wee-bit had they told me the actual wait time. I would have happily come back for after 2 hours per the promised time, if they had promised in the first place! They didn’t prioritize my order because they had already received online payment for my order and in case of the app-based orders, they would have lost money if they didn’t deliver in time and I wasn’t one who they knew personally. So, they kept pushing and pushing for as long as possible. By the way, it’s not the first time I have waited long for an order from a restaurant, but other restaurants had the decency to tell the correct wait time and the decency not to talk in a nasty tone after they had made...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at an Indian restaurant and I must say, the experience was absolutely delightful. Not only was the food incredibly delicious, but the service provided by our waitress, Jimika, was truly exceptional.
From the moment we walked in, Jimika greeted us with a warm and friendly smile, making us feel instantly welcomed. She guided us through the menu, offering helpful suggestions and explaining the different flavors and spices used in each dish. Her knowledge and passion for Indian cuisine were evident, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience.
Throughout the meal, Jimika was attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. She checked on us regularly, making sure our glasses were never empty and that we were satisfied with our food. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her customers truly set her apart as one of the best waitresses I have ever encountered.
Not only was Jimika efficient and professional, but she also had a wonderful personality that made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. She engaged in friendly conversation, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Her positive energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and it created a warm and inviting atmosphere in the restaurant.
Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of Jimika and the exceptional service she provided. Her knowledge, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor truly made our dining experience memorable. I would highly recommend visiting this Indian restaurant and requesting Jimika as your waitress. She is a true gem and undoubtedly one of the best waitresses I have ever had the pleasure of...
Read moreI've been wanting to write a review for a while now. I've been going to this restaurant for a long time now and I have never been dissatisfied. The food is amazing. I've tried Indian food all over from Quebec to BC and although some cut it close, I haven't been able to find one to match. I will admit that some of their food is a bit on the spicy side but the flavor is great. Reading some of the reviews is hurtful when someone rates a restaurant 1 star because it's too spicy. That's like giving Pizza Hut a 1 because there was too much sauce or McDonalds 1 star because they got no salt on the fries. Some people need to grow up because they are unhappy with their life, they need to destroy other people. During the time of a pandemic where restaurants are doing everything in their power to survive and keep a roof over their head for their families don't need negative reviews that can damage them. Just because you had a bad experience while many others didn't doesn't give you the right to possibly destroy the life of someone else. Especially during COVID when stress is high and Depression is common. I tried a restaurant where the cook coughed in her hand and all over my food while cooking. Even then I didn't write a bad review. I spoke directly to the owner in private and explained the situation. They were horrified but thanked me for not making a scene. Anyway. Great food here, price is actually fair compared to the other Indian restaurants I've been to. Great taste. I recommend this place...
