After a long busy day, my boyfriend decided to order us food. He was gonna get something more expensive but then remembered dominos had some new crust and i convinced him to just get that since it would be cheaper and quicker than uber. I lived 600 meters away but we were so exhausted we decided on delivery because that’s what it’s there for right? Oh and I hadn’t eaten all day. Anyways we order online and it says it should be 25 minutes. We ordered around 8pm. Next thing you know it’s 9pm…. We have to be up at 530am for work… we call and the girl says sorry and that they’re a little bit behind, she JUST took our pizza out of the oven but the driver is leaving right now and it’s fresh. I was mad but my boyfriend said it was fine, so we waited again & she said it should be 15-20 minutes. That was at 9:01pm. At 9:53pm I called back. At this point we wanted to cry we were so hungry and frustrated. The same girl answers the phone and says it’s showing the driver is almost there, 8 minutes away. So again we wait. We are able to see on the site that the driver is getting closer. It does say 8 minutes, but then 12….. and then 8 again, then 7, then 4, then they turn on my street….. and then they turn back out????? At 10:09 I call back AGAIN. This time my boyfriend is pissed. We tell the girl she needs to call the driver, this is a joke. We were about to just go there ourselves, we could’ve literally walked there in 3 minutes. She convinces us not to as the driver is at our location apparently, so we wait. The driver does show up a few minutes later and stupidly my boyfriend pays AND tips. I don’t know why. We had chicken bites that were clearly old and had no sauce on them. The pizza was DISGUSTING. We had one piece each because we were starving (we were out of the country for the week prior so I had no food at home to even cook something). Anyways it was also clearly old, she did say it was taken out of the oven at 9:01, over an hour earlier. I really don’t know why we were charged. We eat, disappointed and pissed off, I send a complaint through their website site and go to sleep. Shortly after I wake up with awful stomach cramps and end up in the bathroom for an hour. Finally by 1230am I’m in bed & we have to wake up at 530am -_- Then around 330am my boyfriend wakes me up because now he’s sick. The next day I’m at work busy & later notice 2 missed calls from dominos. No voicemail. No email. I decide to wait figuring they would either call again or email me but nothing. This was on May 12. I was going to let it go but I saw another story where dominos recently MAJORLY messed up and they did the same thing where all they did was call and leave no voicemail or anything. Like I’m sorry, is it the customers job to chase you down when you’ve so clearly done wrong? Why are you not leaving a voicemail when you call? Just like you’re at work calling us, we too are at work. By the time we call back we have no clue who to ask for and the employees who answer don’t know what we’re calling about or how to handle the situation and resolve it. DO BETTER DOMINOS. That’s going to be your new slogan otherwise. I just reached out again via email so hopefully I hear back and can edit this review later. In the meantime i recommend no one order from dominos unless you’re trying to throw away money, get wrinkles and grey hair from the frustration, and lose weight from being sick...
Read moreEDIT: I am revising the number of stars I gave this Domino's after their customer service representative did a great job explaining what happened when I ordered, the steps they're currently taking to resolve the delivery issues they were experiencing, and providing credit on my account should I wish to place a future order and give them a second chance. I look forward to a better experience next time. The original review follows below.
Do not order delivery from this location - - maybe try pick up, or just order better pizza somewhere else and save yourself the frustration and disappointment. I just had the worst pizza delivery experience I've ever had with any pizza chain, and the worst pizza I've ever had from any Domino's. I ordered shortly after 7:20 pm, and the website said it would arrive within 25-35 minutes. At 7:40 it said my order was out for delivery. After 8 pm I was wondering where my pizza was, because I live a 6 minute drive down the road from the place (I even checked google maps with current traffic conditions to get that number). I phoned to ask if there was a problem, or if the driver was having trouble getting into the building. They told me that the driver had dropped my pizza order when leaving, and they'd had to make me a new order, but that it was out for delivery now. A half hour or so later, around 8:30, I phoned again to ask what was going on and why my order hadn't arrived. The person on the other end of the phone called the driver and told me that he said he was stuck in traffic. I understand that they make multiple stops on each delivery trip, but if my pizza had already been pushed back to another trip because they dropped the first one and was already late enough to phone about, you think they'd go to my place first, especially seeing as it's a 6 minute drive down the same road as their location... She said he'd be another 8 minutes. About 10 minutes later, I get a call from the driver saying that he will be another 10-15 minutes. My pizza finally arrived a few minutes before 9 pm, over an hour and a half after I ordered it (three times the expected delivery time). And it could barely be counted as not cold. It was barely lukewarm. I had to warm it up in my oven before eating it. AND it was pretty terrible. The driver gave me a few coupons for free breadsticks or brownies as compensation for the wait, which I won't be using because I won't be ordering from here again. Extremely unimpressed. I could have driven 5 minutes to the grocery store, picked up some frozen pizza, brought it home, cooked it, and had a tastier and less expensive dinner in an hour less time than it took this...
Read moreMy partner and I moved to a new area. A few days after the move, so we werent ready to try a new restaurant. We wanted to play safe with well known and fast food chain.
We ordered large vegetarian pizza through online service. Very easy to navigate and place order - it also show you a tracker where the pizza is at, at the time of waiting with the estimate time remaining for pick up.
Service was the standard friendly service you would expect from other fast food pizza chains.
While I found the online service quite convenient and friendly, pizza was … ok.. The quality of crust could be a lot better, especially the texture and the sauce can be more flavourful but I didnt have high expectations considering it is fast food. I wouldn’t compare this to a local restaurant quality, but our plan was to play safe and not be too adventurous.
And although it wasnt the best pizza we had, it still did the job - it was cheap, our hunger was gone, and the taste was within the fast food chain food...
