Hi, I just wanted to say I liked this bakery. It was kind of giving me like not very good vibe at first because when I came into the bakery, it was half empty like there was just me and yeah, there was not many people and I thought the bakery Well was not gonna be or serve like very nice food, but I realize that it was just like not too bad because when I tried the food, I was having like the bad feeling of it, but when I tried the food, it was OK the empanadas were nice Tried the churros The churros were not that bad I mean, I liked how they have the filling and stuff so actually I went to this restaurant walking distance because I drove to two Argentinian restaurants I drove to Sarah’s Argentinian restaurant and then I tried the food there, and then I went to this I walked from Sarah‘s restaurant to the nearest restaurant, which I luckily found this one called the empanadas café and I mean, I liked the service. The girl was super attentive. She even asked me if I wanted to have a seizure. She was very attentive and she asked me questions to make me feel comfortable and I didn’t really like dying or anything. I just got like takeout so I tried the empanadas at this restaurant, and The empanadas had really good filling. I ordered the cheese and ham and then I ordered the ones with just cheese and then I ordered the veggie ones and yeah, it was nice brunch idea and the atmosphere was OK I mean it didn’t give me like a good feeling because normally it was like half empty and stuff like there was only me And I felt like it was really quiet and I didn’t see a lot of people walking in and also, there was not a lot of food variety like the other restaurant that I went to the Sarah‘s one and yeah, I guess when I came I saw that there was not a lot of food left. Probably some people bought the food. I’m not Befor got a chance to look at it and when I say like a lot I meant like there was nearly not enough food like when I came up to the counter I didn’t see a lot Desserts in the counter or I mean behind the counter I just saw a few desserts and they didn’t look very appetizing but...

No, we didn't wear masks as we're the only customer inside, that's why we're wondering why it took 45 mins to serve sandwich and pasta. We always take risks in trying different dishes, yes we know we're in a restaurant and not fast food. And lastly, we didn't finished the pasta, 1/4th only.
In fact, the first 2 items we ordered are not available, I even asked if I can have one of those breakfast for dinner, but she said no, which is understandable. We should've walked away but decided to try their "special" sandwich and pasta instead. Their posted price did not even match the receipt, we let it go and even gave a 15% tip. My original review: Took them 45 mins to serve the sandwich and a simple pasta. She said their sandwich is extraordinary, we were fooled. Also very expensive. Pasting the initial response from the owner:
Hi Ian, Thank you for your feedback. It is important that you understand that La Empanada Cafe is not a fast food Joint. We do recall that you came in last week, with your masks on (real tight). These masks are causing serious adverse effects, including poor sense of taste, especially for those clinical trial participants. Yes, many were fooled, and still are.
We wish you could have provided your feedback in person, but I guess that is not in your nature. All your meals were fully consumed, but yeah, Justinflation is killing us all…
We hope the best for you and may the odds be in...
Read moreFirst time trying Empanada Cafe and I’ll definitely be back! Called my order in for pick up and wow, it was delicious and fresh! One of the best beef empanadas I’ve tried in a long time (baked packed w/ beef & egg). The churros ( I got plain & dulce de leche) we’re absolutely delicious and not full of oil or sugar like some other places.Perfection right there!! I also picked up a dessert pastry ( not sure of the name) but it was a puff pastry filled w/ guava paste and drizzled with honey…it was also a winner for us. This family owned place takes pride and you can definitely tell just from the packaging alone…support local and visit this friendly place you won’t be disappointed!!...
