El Palacio Latin Taste Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Vaughan

The food is okay. We went there today to have Pupusas and as soon as we sat down, we were told that last call for food and drinks was in less than 5 minutes. Granted it was 20:55... but they still had one hour until they officially closed. We ordered 8 Pupusas in total and the waitress brought two small containers to the table ( one for salsa the other for the coleslaw) . We asked the waitress if we could get more slaw and salsa and her answer was that she will have to charge us for it. We asked if she was being serious, and she mentioned that the amount of slaw and salsa we had was enough for 10 Pupusas. It was clear that she had already stored the condiments and didn’t want to be bothered bringing them out again. When you pay $5.00 per Pupusa, and you have the audacity to try to charge for cheap sides... you will lose customers. Service has never been the best... but it’s not as bad as La Pupusa Loka on Wilson . This restaurant is transitioning from amanecer salvadoreño to el palacio del sabor, but they are already being cheap on little things now, we will definitely go back to the location on islington and never frequent this new restaurant. Pupusas at the islington go for $ 3.50 and at this location the same item...

We visited this restaurant Sunday evening, it was myself, my husband, my mom, my toddler and my newborn baby. It was her first time trying the restaurant out and we were extremely disappointed with our visit. The food was mediocre, But What really was disappointing was the service. Our waitress was the most coldest waitress we probably ever had in our lives. She couldn’t care less about customer service. She never even smiled at us once, Whenever we would ask her questions she wouldn’t answer with words she would just nod, She was so serious That she made us feel uncomfortable, so much so we were scared to ask her for anything. My husband even wanted to order a second drink and he chose not to just to avoid speaking to her. We were even scared to ask for the bill or smother bottle of water. And to top it all off, when we finished paying, she had the nerve to ask us to leave her a five star Google review. This restaurant deserves zero stars but I had no choice to put at least one. Do...

I tried the mango smoothie and it was the best smoothie I have ever had in my life, the empanadas are also amazing one of the best I’ve tried! The place is so clean , the bathroom ,the counter, the table , the floor, everything! The service was great the people are kind and even though they are busy they don’t leave you waiting, the food also doesn’t take too long , and even if it did it’s always worth the wait!
