We came to Vaughan area for brunch with my boyfriend and this place was a great find. The eggs and delicious tomato sauce went perfectly with the toasted bread. The breakfast burger had a generous slice of frittata and was very tasty. Not a big fan of coffee in general but still tried the latte flight (mainly for the rose and lavender) but i can say it was very good. We finished the lattes and enjoyed all the flavours, it includes two pocky sticks which is nice. At the end we shared an order of mixed berry waffles (not pictured). They were so good, soft and fluffy. The serving of berry compote topping was very generous which was a pleasant surprise as many breakfast spots I've been to seem to only put a couple tablespoons for the whole plate. The vibe was 12/10, amazing soft r&b/soul type music, beautiful decor and lighting, such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was refreshing too with all the colours and gorgeous plants 🪴. Last but definitely not least, the service was phenomenal. The server made us feel at home very professional and approachable, kindly showing us the menu and suggesting a few popular options for drinks for example. Even the lady that brought the flight of lattes gave us a brief summary of it. We appreciate the details, definitely made our experience a nice one where we felt like true guests. Definitely will be coming back and showing it to my family too, I know my mom...
Read moreRavine Cafe is our new favourite spot. It was recommended by my friend who came along with us. We ended up staying for over two hours — not because we planned to, but because the vibe was just that good. It’s calm, full of life (literally — real plants everywhere!), and feels like a little hidden escape from the city.
What really stood out this time was that the staff remembered our friend from his last visit, including the review he left, and even mentioned how many views it had gathered! That kind of personal touch is rare. They chatted with us about their love for plants, and you can really tell it’s something they’re passionate about. It’s not just decor — it’s part of the atmosphere and soul of the place.
I had the Cajun Shrimp Benny, which was just as delicious as I remembered — spicy, fresh, and perfectly balanced. And the Pistachio Coffee? Still a winner. Creamy, slightly nutty, and totally comforting. One of the more unique coffee flavours I’ve tried, and it works so well.
This is more than just brunch—it’s a place where you’re seen, heard, and welcomed. Great food, lush ambience, and humans who care—that’s Ravine Cafe. Already counting down to...
Read moreWe’ve had great experiences at this restaurant in the past - the food was good and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, today’s visit fell short of our expectations, and I’m writing this review because I genuinely care about this place and hope they can address these issues. We were a party of three, and there were some timing problems with our order. Two meals arrived first, and we had to ask our server about the third dish, which came 10 minutes later. By then, the first two meals had gone cold. I ordered the French toast, but unfortunately could only eat about a third of it. The dish had an unpleasant taste and smell that reminded me of food fried in old oil. The oil quality seemed poor - even my dining companions agreed when I asked them to try it. The menu described it as “crispy,” but it was actually quite soggy. I was disappointed because we’ve enjoyed coming here before, and I’m hoping the kitchen can pay more attention to oil quality and timing to get back to the standards we’ve experienced...
