Peachwood Restaurant — Restaurant in Watrous

First of all, I'm confused over all the positive reviews for this restaurant. We tried this place 3 times, and were disappointed each time. I found the staff very uninterested in us as customers. Several people simply hanging around the till, and not bothering to check if our meal was ok. The food was loaded with MSG, and the veggies were soggy and obviously were sitting there since early in the day. The final straw for us was when I asked for more fried chicken as there was none at the buffet, but was told they won't be making more since the buffet was over soon. In fact there was still almost 45 minutes to go! The same thing happened a second time. There was 2 pieces of dried out chicken left, and I asked them to prepare more. They said no, not unless someone eats the last two pieces! We haven't been...

Fries cooked perfectly..we love krinkle cuts. Gravy was great! Fried wontons were really good and the sweet and sour sauce was home made and great! I had a clubhouse sandwich and it was huge with real Turkey and super fresh. Service was pleasant. My only complaint is We came after the buffet was finished and my kid wanted buffet takeout and they dont do buffet take out....since you are just throwing out the food anyway I dont see why you wouldn't left her have a take out buffet...but still...
