This is the only Chinese food in this town so Maybe they think we will take what we get and put up with such inconsistencies in their food and food sizes and prices. Every time I get Chinese food the price is up from the last time five plus dollars. And with that the portion sizes go down we always order the same thing and this time there’s five less chicken balls which were soggy and cold no crunch to them at all the rice was ice cold and the eggrolls were cold limpy and rubbery The only thing that was decent was the chow mein it was steaming, hot. So it’s not because we didn’t eat it right away because the chow mein would be cold as well. Even the dip was coagulated and cold. Although I love Chinese food, I don’t love it enough to waste $50 on leftovers and hot chow mein. Because that is what we received, we might as well have taken it out of our fridge the next day, and served it on our plates ourselves, spending 50.00 should be enough money to purchase a nice hot meal...
Read moreAlways good food and quick service. I posted the above review * with a five star review 6 years ago when it was different owners. This place has new owners now and I will not be leaving a good review. I ordered Combo 5 for my mom for Mother's Day. The beef was tough, the brocoli and the other vegetables were hard as nails and the chicken was stringy. I also ordered my mother the sweet and sour shrimp and the full box is completely doughy. I ordered Combo 12 for myself. The chicken fried rice has no flavor and the breaded shrimp was very doughy. The sweet-and-sour sauce was very watery. I also ordered the almond soo guy. They give you the gravy in a container, and when I opened it, it wasn't even liquidy. It was like it would be after being in the fridge for a couple of hours. This so called meal cost me $67.69. I will not be ordering from Lois Canton...
Read moreI had combo 10, it tasted like minute rice, I got fish instead of chicken balls (chicken balls is what's comes with combo 10) the sweet & sour (or red sauce) came super watery, and dark, tasted like vinager and water. The beef and broccoli was horrible .The beef was mushy and didn't taste right and under cooked. & the broccoli was horribly cooked and still hard. Everything was extremely flavorless...
My fiancee had the pad tai, it was flavorless with the same mushy beef that I had in my meal, and just flat out gross. He refused to eat It.
If you want good Chinese food, I highly recommend going to tai pan in Mattawa, or green appleicious in North bay.
The food is gross, definitely do not recommend loi's Canton kitchen.
We will definitely not be ordering from there anymore. This meal went to the birds, and raccoons because it's not fit for a...
