This has been a restaurant that I’ve been curious about all the time that I’ve lived in the Vancouver area. I had the day off so I rode down to horseshoe Bay to check it out and it was a nice surprise. I started out with hot and sour soup and while it’s not the best in the area, it’s good enough if that’s what you’re craving. What I was really impressed with was the general tso chicken which still had its crunch and wasn’t too sweet for my taste. I’d give that about 4.5 stars. I also had barbeque pork chow mein (everything came in ample qualities btw) which was better than average. Service was excellent and half a block down the street is one of the best views around, of the bay and Marina and mountains. I ordered full size with the intention of boxing up leftovers, and I had plenty!

We happened upon this restaurant while coming back from Whistler and it was a nice surprise. Cook and service person were all Chinese, so we knew we were getting the authentic food. The interior was very basic with plastic table cloth on tables. The menu was quite extensive and there were lunch options available. The most memorable item we ate was the shrimp fried rice which very much had a wok taste and was the best that we had on our trip. The lemon chicken and the corn soup were just average. Service was quick and food came out piping hot. There is available parking right outside the restaurant.

Came here while waiting for our ferry. Ordered the broccoli with garlic sauce, ginger beef, dry chicken with spicy salt, and a small bowl of rice. Was quiet when we came and the server was helpful and relaxed. The food was great. Every dish met our expectations. The texture of the beef was not as crisp as other places. Loved the broccoli. The chicken was tasty and good for kids, as long as they can handle some spice. We like to come here when we get the chance. Thinking of trying this place? We recommend it. It’s a reliably good experience (taste, service, quality). Hope all goes well.

We chose this as a meeting place to exchange Christmas Gifts last night, our friend came from Abbotsford and we came from Squamish and decided this would be a decent place to meet. Boy are we glad we chose this one! The food was extremely delicious especially the chow mein and chop suey! 10/10 recommend those dishes. To keep it simple we ordered the dinner for 3, but we did add one extra dish to ensure we were well fed. The portions were big so we had a lot of left overs, the extra dish was probably not necessary but no regrets. The lovely lady serving us (I assume the owner) was very attentive and friendly, made us feel like we were having a family dinner at home. We've decided we are gonna make this an annual tradition (but we will probably be back sooner). Thanks for the delicious meal and the...

AMAZING Chinese food. Despite a lackluster external facade, the food is fast, hot and great value. We had a tofu hot pot, beef noodle soup and chicken egg drop soup. The noodles were arguably the best we've had in a while. To top it all off, the service was nothing short of excellent. We were warmly greeted and hosted with attentiveness during our visit with 2 young kids despite a restuarant full of other hungry clients. Oh yes, the waitress also didn't try to upsell us on any items. (I had asked for a large serving of rice and she recommended that the small would suffice, and more than enough it did.) The honesty received by the host and quality food received will definitely have us...
