Mandarin Wok — Restaurant in Wetaskiwin

I did a takeout order from this company, being that they are the only place in town that has salt and pepper squid, I thought I'd give that a try, to my absolute disappointment of beer-battered squid that was overcooked and burnt and rubbery and not a trace of salt or pepper on it that gave me an upset stomach and the opportunity to throw up $51 worth of food for special fried rice, which was the best part of the dinner, Ginger Beef which was overcooked and hard and they Blended the ginger beef sauce with sweet and sour sauce so it didn't have spice it had Tang, so unfortunately even though they changed the name nothing much else had changed from when I went there a...

We love this place, it is the best Chinese food we have had in Alberta so far. The owners are extremely nice, their kids also help run it. Wife loves their bubble tea! We love everything we have tried so far and we try to order a couple new things each time we go. The only negative thing I have to say about this restaurant is they moved from Millet (formally Canton House owners) to Wetaskiwin and made it a longer drive from Leduc!!!! New to Wetaskiwin and have been trying out all the Chinese food places. The staff was really friendly. The food, however, was just ok. I'm not sure I got the correct food as the sweet and sour pork looked just like the ginger beef. I do have to say the portions were plenty and was enough food for 6 meals for 2 people and cost $47, so not too bad in that aspect. I will give them another chance and do a sit down instead of take out and see if the sweet and sour pork...
