Used to be our go to restaurant. We told absolutely everyone to go there but after getting what seemed like mild food poisoning twice after getting their food delivered (we had nothing else that could of caused it) we can no longer suggest it. The food was amazing but even when we didn't get sick the quality of the food was slowly degrading to a point where our favorite pasta dish is runny and bland 80% of the time.
As for the getting sick, it was every time my wife had the bacon mushroom carbonara with shrimp and shared the shrimp with my daughter. The one time i got sick was the bacon carbonara and the bacon looked severely under-cooked. I wasn't sure though and didnt want to raise a complaint in case i was wrong, so i picked all of it out and ate just the noodles and still got sick. It is quite possible that things like the steak, burgers, wings, etc. are perfectly fine and maybe you wont ever get sick.
I feel bad for writing this, as we absolutely loved this place and due to the covid restrictions and such im sure they are struggling to keep enough good cooks with the likely severely reduced income from the lock downs. I hope i can one day review this post and change it back to the 5 star this placed deserved which is why i put it to 3 stars instead of lower. Getting sick a couple times and the quality of food has been 1 star lately but the place was a 5+ star place...
Read moreI am fairly new to town and a couple of nights ago I was far too exhausted to cook dinner so I decided to order takeout. I will admit I am torn as to how to rate my experience. Chicken teriyaki Rice Bowl was indeed tasty! The problem was that for 19 or $20 I was still quite hungry when I was finished. I will admit I was very angry because I then had to go find something else to eat when the whole reason I ordered take out in the first place was because I had nothing and was too tired to cook. I must also mention that some of the chicken on one side was overcooked and stringy and dry so I couldn't even eat the small portion I received in its entirety. I could have overlooked that if I was full. There were not a ton of vegetables and the bok choy was quite tough and some of it was hard to chew and required me spitting it out. So all things considered I am not too sure I will be back. To pay $20 and still not be even remotely full is a problem in my opinion. The service I got was good and the atmosphere seemed fine but I did...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I came here for dinner. It was fairly quiet in the restaurant, but the service was fast and friendly (a young woman with long hair, don't remember her name unfortunately) and the food was amazing!! The prices are incredibly fair, we got a beer, margarita, butter chicken flatbread, stir fry, and burger for just over $60 before tip. The burger was delicious, and I got my teriyaki stir fry with tofu which was great!! The sauce had great flavour and I took a risk with the tofu because I've never really liked it but it was surprisingly good!! The butter chicken flatbread was great, the only issue was a bit too much cheese and it overpowered that yummy butter chicken sauce underneath. Overall we had a great experience here and had plenty of leftovers to...
