PHO Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Wetaskiwin

We thought we'd try this new place out. We love Seoul, which is across the street!

The atmosphere is diner-ish. The menus were photocopied paper, black and white. It was hard to "choose with our eyes". We had water but it was never refilled.

We ordered Rainbow Rolls, Spicy Salmon rolls, and Oilers Crunchy Rolls. Go Oil!

My soy sauce initially spilled all over the table - the carafe was too full. The plates we were given felt of a nice quality. The soy sauce bowl was very small.

Finally - the sushi. Our selections were mild in flavor, almost creamy. They were tasty for what they were. Our favorite was actually the spicy salmon!

Overall, we still prefer Seoul. This restaurant was a bit cheaper but the ambience just...

Rave to Tenkuu Japanese & Vietnamese restaurant on 50th street! I moved to Alberta about 8 years ago from BC and found it quite hard to find a place that served a good bowl of pho since then. On a whim, I decided to give this place a try and I was not disappointed! Oh my goodness! I am so excited, you won't believe it! My favourite sushi restaurant has opened up a branch in Wetaskiwin, and I couldn't be happier. I went there last night, and the owner was the nicest person ever! The server kept checking on us to make sure we were having a great time, and he was doing an amazing job! And let me tell you, the sushi was absolutely divine! We devoured it all before we even had a chance to take photos, but that's just a sign of how good it was. We will definitely be going...
