Subway — Restaurant in Whitby

This location used to be my favourite as it’s very close to home. I usually place an order on the app and pickup with no issues. On June 4th, I placed an order and the sandwiches I received were identical even though there should have been a difference in bread, ingredients, and sauces. I called the store to see if they had mixed up the order and informed them of what I got, the teenager that picked up kept on insisting “my colleague made it right”. I told him I’m not lying and don’t have extra time on my hands to call and complain. He kept on insisting “no we made it right”, so with frustration I headed to the store. Another teenager looked at the order, compared and was like okay yea they don’t match your order, what should I do? Remake both? I said yes and carefully watched as he made the sandwiches correctly. When he finished wrapping I told him how they shouldn’t be arguing with the customer on the phone, then he slowly apologized and offered a cookie. I couldn’t care less about the cookie, my issue was the fact that they kept arguing, making me seem like a liar, and wasting my time. The other teenager had such a big ego he didn’t even own up to the mistake nor apologize for arguing with me on the phone. Won’t be visiting this...

This is the 4th time. THE 4TH TIME, I have tried to buy dinner here. I work late and need somewhere on my way home from work to get food. They close at 11 supposedly and I arrive at around 10:35.

The first time, the woman behind the counter straight up refused to serve me because she has already packed up (apparently 11pm close means they stop taking business at 10:20), when I asked for the info to speak with the manager or franchisee the next day, she also refused. Since then, I haven't had to deal with rude service staff telling me they will not take my business BECAUSE they have already had their lights off and the door locked before I've even arrived. Why post a closing time if your staff take the liberty of closing down at their pleasure?

I write this review as I stand in the Tahinis across the parking lot (5 stars btw. Friendly, willing, helpful and delicious 🤌)

Really Horrible experience ever, for a second I was thinking my self am I really in Canada and is this Customer service? On 8th, Jun 2021 around 7:00pm there was 2 lady staff were working. Me and my friend went to this subway and our few friends were out side in car because of Covid we prefer less people to go in. I had ask to use subway coupon than the 2 ladies staff told only 1 person can use coupon but we both were paying separately we were looking to buy separately but still that staff told us we will serve only 1 person the other person can not use his or her coupon. Ultimately owner of subway is losing business because I also work around that plaza office and sometimes during lunch party we order online pick up from you guys definitely It will stop from now.

Subway inspector or headquarters has to definitely note this all rude customer service because Subway coupon didn't mention anything how many people can use at time? Or same family or separate family?

I will never ever prefer this...
