After an incredible experience with Kevin and Susi’s food truck, Cinder Hill BBQ, the first time around, we returned for a private 5-course meal they prepared as a surprise for my wife—and wow, they exceeded every expectation!

The meal started with BBQ grilled bread as appetizers, which set the stage for a culinary journey. Next came a fresh Caesar salad paired with baked potato soup, both packed with flavor. The third course was a combination of scampi shrimp and BBQ wings—each bite perfectly cooked. Then came the star of the night: a tender steak served with beets, Spargel (asparagus), and mashed potato that looked just like a baked potato! Finally, we ended on the sweetest note with deep-fried cheesecake, topped with pumpkin whipped cream, and chocolate-dipped strawberries.

Kevin and Susi went all out, not only with the food but with the personal touches that made the night unforgettable. Every course was crafted with care, and their attention to detail showed just how much they love what they do. We are truly blessed to call them friends, and they made this special occasion one we will treasure forever.

Their hospitality and food are second to none. We can’t wait to return and enjoy more of what Cinder Hill BBQ has to offer. Thank you, Kevin and Susi, for making our evening so special!

First review: Had the pleasure of visiting Kevin and Susi’s food truck, Cinder Hill BBQ, with the family, and let me tell you—they outdid themselves! We showed up expecting a quick takeout, but once we saw the mountain of ribbon fries, we knew we were staying for a picnic. Who knew fries could make you change your entire lunch plan?

Those ribbon fries were something else—hot, crispy, and absolutely delicious. They served us so many I thought to myself about needing a wheelbarrow to carry them home! But seriously, they were the best I’ve had, hands down. And the sausage burgers? Just wow. Juicy patties topped with a sauce so good, Kevin should start bottling it. I’d dip everything in that sauce if I could.

We didn’t even notice the wait time—it flew by. Kevin and Susi have a way of making you feel like you’re part of the family, which made the whole experience even better.

We left with full bellies, big smiles, and some wonderful memories. Can’t wait to come back and try out more of their incredible menu. Thank you...

Stopped by for a brisket burger. Bun was fantastic, freshest bun anywhere. Coleslaw in the bun was great also. The brisket was the best! Flavourful, juicy, and sauce excellent! However, a big however, and no exaggeration, 3/4 of bun was coleslaw, and a small strip, the width of a weiner of brisket on the far edge. That was very disappointing. After I saw the response below, I went back, close to 3 months later, asked for Kevin, and he remembered me, can you believe it? He said you just wait right there, I will fix that for you, and he handed me with a full meal deal, NO Charge! A stuffed brisket sandwich, Meat stuffed that is, ribbon fries and a coke! WOW he sure made up for my complaint, plus a lot more, along with a big friendly smile! Now that is an effort shown to stay in business, backing up what they say they are...

I had been wanting to visit Cinder Hill BBQ for awhile now, but due to distance of 1300kms I hadn't been able to get out here until now. And boy was I happy I did! I have been to many Texas BBQ joints from Terry Black's, to Snow's BBQ. And Cinder Hill did not disappoint! I tried everything from brisket, pulled pork, pig wings, wings, and all the sides and sausages. Everything was top notch, flavor was on point and all the meat was tender and juicy!
