San Vito Coffee House — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I popped into this café hoping for a cozy spot to enjoy a good cup of coffee, but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. I only visited once, and to be honest, I wasn't impressed.

The coffee itself was way too bitter for my taste. Now, I get it, everyone's palate is different, but this cup just didn't do it for me. It lacked that smooth, balanced flavor that I look for in a good brew.

Adding to the disappointment was the ambiance of the place. It felt really dark and kind of gloomy, which didn't exactly make me want to linger. Sure, the service was fine, but when the main attraction falls short, it's hard to overlook.

Overall, this café didn't have that special something that makes me want to come back for more. For a coffee lover like me, it's just not the ideal spot to get my caffeine fix. If you're serious about your coffee, you might want to explore other options...

The San Vito Coffee House is actually a pretty cool place to hang out. I’m not a huge coffee drinker, but the people I go with say their coffee is pretty decent. I’ve ordered the hot chocolate and it wasn’t great so I wouldn’t recommend it. Some of their baked goods are pretty good especially their muffins. There are couches and chairs to use, though the foam and padding are pretty worn and uncomfortable. But they also have wooden tables/chairs which I prefer and are really the better options for seating. This place is good for studying, catching up with friends, etc. Pretty chill...

Place was awesome. Had some comfy chair spots for me a few friends to set up a go board and play for a few hours. Coffee is cheap and tasty. Smoothies were also good. Prices are better than you would expect for a smaller coffee shop usually things are like 5-6$ a coffee. Breakfast wrap was also tasty. They bring stuff out to you too so its like part coffee shop but also with a bit of like cafe service. Vibe is chill its an older crowd for sure.
